I was sus of Igor the whole time. I should have also used my ability to end night early instead of protecting and get nk'd. I was sus of Yhuan as well.

Igor did a great job acting very town like, and helped town all the way through. That's why I cleared them in beginning. It would have been possible to figure out their alignment only endgame because of this. Excellent play 9/10, it's just the behavior can be telling, but I would not made anything of it. If you acted troll like as your usually do, there wouldn't be any way of figuring it out without a role and luck.
Sam on the other hand. . . yea, I thought sam was town until very end. That was a 10/10 perfect play. I even protected them the night I died. I have no idea what I could have done differently to figure out sam was scum.

btw, Yhuan made the good decision to revive para during night 3. If they waited like abraker asked, I would have RB'd them and used their ability to revive asian warlord on the next night and on top of our scum kill, we would have won the game.
Also, I kinda need to explain what happened on night 3 because it was kinda unfair to town. Basically, Shin made a special event where they gave town two modkill during night 3. So this is how we killed two person that night. I RB'd abraker that night because I was sure he'd protect himself (the modkill didn't bypass protect) and lied about using it on Igor.

There are two protection ability and one resurrection ability on the towns side so it would have taken ridiculously long for the game to end if I haven’t given mafia two free kills

Yeah I forgot to include some of the role restriction and I also had to change a few roles
My main issue is the fact that there were mod-kills and only the mafia was told about it. Like, it completely ruined all of town's reads and suspicions because I thought there was some sort of neutral killing or two mafia kills. It quite literally just ruined the game.
It wouldn't be as bad if everyone was informed that there would be a mod-kill instead of just the Mafia. Either everyone needs to be informed that something like that will happen, or nobody.
Or better yet, just don't add dumb shit like that.

I was following along and I could tell town wasn't on the right track just by the double nightkill existing. That was a huge red flag that something was up.

Same for me, if you noticed, I spent the second day just trying to understand what my ability did because a lot if it was not in the info description. - Bastard Game was advertised from the singups.
- The posibility of Random Event occurance was advertised from the signups.
Outside of the game being Bastard or Mod interference being publicly known from the get go, a mod should only be there to count votes, do end of the day stuff and enforce rules.
A mod shouldnt go in the thread to confirm any role or change roles up as they go along.
* A role may change if it's in the nature of the role changing or the game is Bastard (Where mod lies that cannot be reasonably anticipated are a thing, like false roles, or roles saying they do something but then do something else that is completely different from what they state they do without the player knowing).
That being said Shin being new and wanting to try something different is fine, just next time if you plan on doing things like this, please make it publicly known OR advertise the game as Bastard (if you dont want to mention what the bastard mechanics are).
