[duplicate] Practice mod for playing individual sections of a map/song

Use bookmarks to divide sections of a song to select an individual part to practice. On currently released maps it could be "bookmark1 to bookmark2" but in future clients bookmarks can be labelled things such as "verse," "chorus," "bridge," etc. Individual bookmarks could be selected on a screen displaying the editor timeline after selecting the practice mod from the mod menu. I'm sure a lot of maps don't have bookmarks so red and green lines could have to do, especially on very old maps.

None of these really discussed nuance or functionality, they're dismissed as "press f5 in editor" as a solution. A few things, what about mods (and dim)? What about players who never touch the editor (it's not reaching, I've met someone who struggled to make an AR edit)? What about clutter from edits? I get the feature could be low priority but denying it completely seems foolish.

Off-topic, but is this forum useless? I mean is this forum only for stable and github is for everything lazer related until lazer is released?

Signing up on a different platform kinda defeats the purpose of having a dedicated website forum specifically for osu but I can link this there or cut and paste or whatever, having 2 forums is just confusing as to which is for what purpose... I assumed this was for stable and lazer and github is only for lazer though.
