01:01:004 (3,4) - I find this part awkward because 01:01:004 (3) - end where the vocals hold, and you have to start anew by clicking 01:01:359 (4) - while she is still holding it. Why not have a slider start where she holds instead
01:10:944 (5) - you just skip across such a strong rhythm where she sings at 01:11:122 by having a slider tick, which is so weak. Have something end or start at the point of time
01:15:205 (8) - ^

Hard

00:31:181 (4,5) - curve 00:31:359 (5) - more to blanket?

Normal

00:01:359 (2) - this repeat slider doesn't fit into the rhythm of the song. Nothing starts there, and any strong beat that is closest to it would be at 00:01:714 - I suggest you rethink the rhythm here
00:09:524 (3) - that clap at the end, I suggest you remove it. It emphasizes that part, when there is nothing there, because the music rhythm was at 00:10:057 - That clap really ruins the sound
00:35:441 (9) - finish on the end of the slider
00:37:217 (2) - remove clap at the end of the slider
00:38:282 (3) - remove clap at the end of the slider and add the clap to the start of the slider
00:43:607 (4) - remove clap at the end of the slider
00:44:672 (5) - add clap at the start of the slider
00:46:447 (2) - add finish to end of slider
00:51:063 (1) - ^
00:52:838 (4) - finish to start of slider
00:53:548 (5) - finish to end of slider
01:05:619 (7) - this isn't the right rhythm to use here, it does not fit. Change the slider to start at 01:05:441 and end at 01:05:796 and add a circle at 01:05:974 - adjust hitsounds accordingly:
01:15:205 (8) - finish on end of slider
01:16:270 (2) - add finish
01:21:240 (1) - spinner should start at 01:21:063 where vocals starts and holds
01:23:725 (1) - slider should end at 01:24:080 and add a note at 01:24:436
01:27:098 (1) - start after the other notes end, start at 01:26:921 - why have an awkward pause in between

Yeah I know it took me ages for my turn to look at this from the team queue.

The note appears too soon after a slider for new players to be able to recover quick enough.

Thanks for the mod!

Your HP setting is the same as Jonny's harddddd. For difficulty progression and to balance diff settings in general, consider raising it by 1 or 2 ticks

00:04:199 (3) - add a whistle on the tail to emphasize the strong piano sound?
00:06:329 (5,6) - switch these on the timeline so that the slider can match the vocals? IMO, the slider also provides build up :D
00:18:578 (3) - for better flow from the previous slider, try angling it this way
00:19:998 (6) - instead of a drum sampleset, i think a soft whistle on the head would better fit the violin sound
00:20:530 (1) - whistle on head & tail for the same reason
00:21:240 (3) - whistle on head for ^
00:23:015 (3) - ^
00:23:370 (5) - ^
00:26:033 (4,5,6) - personally i don't think having these sliders start on red ticks fits the vocals or the rhythm, since the strong beats occur on the tails of the slider and you don't actually click the tails, so it plays oddly for me D: maybe something like this?
00:31:536 (4,5,6,7) - even with AR 9, these overlaps look a bit messy to me especially since they aren't consistent, how about this? it'll maintain your circular flow and look nicer (AR lowered to show all objects)
00:32:956 (1) - imo this slider should curve the other way if you want to maintain your circular flow from before. I understand what you're trying to do here though, so it's ok to leave it as is~
00:37:572 (6,7,8) - i think arranging the rhythm this way would fit the vocals better (unless you're not mapping to vocals? @_@)
00:39:524 (3) - move this slider up so it blankets 00:38:992 (2) and is blanketed by 00:39:879 (4) ? hohoho
00:41:299 (2) - angle this slider in the same direction as a straight line from 00:40:412 (1) ?
00:45:205 - maybe add a note here so it doesn't break the momentum you've built up so far?
00:47:157 (1,2,3) - to better fit what's going on in the music, i'd suggest removing the clap at the end of 1, and putting it on the head of 3. Leaving the normal sampleset on 2 is fine, but personally i think it sounds better without that hitsound
00:48:400 (4,1) - clap on these tails ~
00:49:909 - i hear a triplet here! maybe add a note?
00:50:708 (4) - clap on head
00:51:240 (5) - add a quiet finish on the head to match music
00:52:483 (2) - hmm, i think the SV speedup should occur at 00:52:838 (3), since it's the start of a new verse and the music starts to get more upbeat here! Also, it'd be a good idea to NC here (or there, if you choose to change the SV green line) to signal the change to players
00:52:483 (2) - also clap on head here haha.. also, why not make the pattern neater and avoid overlap by stacking the head of this slider on 00:51:950 (7)? And the next slider can be adjusted like so. You would have to change your circle jumps though .__.
00:55:678 (5) - how about NC here to emphasize the change in rhythm?
00:56:566 (8,1,2,3) - how about this rhythm to fit the vocals a bit better? And so the finish sound can go on the head of a slider rather than the tail!
01:01:359 (4,6) - this overlap upsets me :(( even with AR 9, it looks quite messy imo D: Actually, I don't really have a suggestion on what to do here @__@ there's endless possiblities!
01:02:424 (7,8) - Since 8 occurs on a really strong beat, how about unstacking these two (and maybe have a jump)?
01:03:134 (1,3) - whistle on heads to account for the.. tingly... sound in the bg?
01:04:554 (5) - maybe curve the slider like this?
01:05:086 (1) - clap on tail for hitsound consistency~
01:05:974 (5) - clap on head ^
01:08:282 (5,1) - i think the vocals here are quite powerful! What about switching these two on the timeline to emphasize the lady's passionate voice? If you use this rhythm, you can instead use 2 circles instead of the 1/2 slider if you think it leads better into the stream
01:10:589 (4) - this overlap looks a bit messy to me D: how about moving this a little to make the pattern neater?
01:15:205 (8,9,1) - to catch the finish in the background & better fit vocals, try this rhythm?
01:17:867 (8,9) - personal preference, but this overlap looks messy to me @__@
01:18:933 (2,3) - same here! You're still mapping to the kiai, i'm sure it'd be ok to space these out some :D
01:25:501 (3) - add a whistle for violin?
01:25:678 (4) - whistle on tail for some reason~

[Jonnay's Hard]

00:06:329 (1,2) - consider swapping these on timeline to better match vocals and imo, provide better buildup for the rest of the map
00:23:370 (7,8) - maybe add whistles to the heads of these sliders to match violin
01:08:104 - maybe add a note to fit vocals? if you do, i don't think there should be an antijump pattern here ._.

mmm yea nothing else i can say @__@ nice diff as always!

[Normal]

It's not a rule that you have to maintain a consistent distance snap, but it's highly recommended! After checking AiMod, it seems like you have a few distance snap inconsistencies that you might want to fix :P

mostly minor hitsound stuff

00:04:199 (5) - move this down a little to prevent the very slight overlap?
00:05:796 (1) - i suggest ending this spinner at 00:07:394 since the really strong finish sound & beat is there !
00:08:282 (1) - finish on tail? it's in the music
00:09:347 (3) - i understand you want to emphasize the finish sounds in the tail, but to me, the slider starts in an awkward spot D: maybe something like this? @_@
00:16:270 (4) - maybe some slight adjusting so it blankets the previous slider:
00:29:051 (1,2) - whistles on heads & tails to match background?
00:35:441 (9) - finish on tail
00:36:151 (1,2) - i think it'd match music better if the red anchors occurred on the white ticks in the middle of the sliders :P
00:40:412 (6) - clap on head
00:43:607 (4) - move this clap to the head of 00:44:672 (5) for hitsound consistency?
00:46:447 (2) - finish on tail!
00:51:063 (1) - ^
00:47:867 (3) - imo the clap on the tail is unnecessary D: you can keep it if you like
00:50:353 (5) - sounds better if the clap was moved from head to tail
00:54:436 (1) - move to next white tick to better fit vocals?
00:53:548 (5) - finish on tail
00:55:678 (1) - i think some sort of finish or strong hitsound would suit the head & tail
00:58:163 (1) - might be better to delete this note to give beginners enough time to recover after the spinner
01:00:649 (5) - i think it'd be cool if this was stacked on top of head of 00:59:228 (3)
01:01:004 (6,1) - consider swapping these in timeline to better match vocals
01:04:554 (5) - add clap
01:05:619 (7) - move to red tick to fit vocals?
01:07:217 (1) - errr i'm not sure this slider fits D: try shortening it by 1/2 and moving it 1 tick over (so it ends at the same spot as before)
01:08:282 (3,4,5) - hmm this plays a bit oddly to me D: try a really long slider to fit the singing and to better lead into the next slider?
01:09:524 (4,5,6,1,2) - i think having such a close pattern with overlaps would confuse beginners D: it also looks a bit messyyyy @__@
01:13:075 (4,5) - hmmm, a 1/1 stack isn't too hard, but this is the first time doing stacks like this, so beginners might get thrown off
01:18:933 (2) - a multiply repeating slider would proooobably confuse beginners big time D: maybe limit to one repeat and fill the rest in with circles? if you choose to have a note at 01:19:643, make sure it has a finish
01:23:725 (1,2) - i think swapping these in the timeline would fit violin better

jk, some rhythm stuff too derp

[Trust's Easy]

so many 3/2 rhythms @_@

00:13:430 (1) - since you have been trying to catch all the finishes in the music, how about reducing the length of this by 1/2 so it ends at 00:14:317?
00:32:601 (1,2) - maybe switch these on timeline to fit vocals?
01:24:613 - add a 1/1 slider here to catch violin?
01:01:004 (4) - maybe move this to 01:01:181 but end at the same spot to match vocals?

ok i'm done~ goodluck!!

00:04:199 (3) - add a whistle on the tail to emphasize the strong piano sound? Sure!
00:06:329 (5,6) - switch these on the timeline so that the slider can match the vocals? IMO, the slider also provides build up :D Agreed. Changed ~

00:18:578 (3) - for better flow from the previous slider, try angling it this way Good suggestion. Changed.
00:19:998 (6) - instead of a drum sampleset, i think a soft whistle on the head would better fit the violin sound Yes, I agree.
00:20:530 (1) - whistle on head & tail for the same reason Added one on the tail. Claps on the head fit better in this situation due to the pitch on the head sluring down to the tail.
00:21:240 (3) - whistle on head for ^ Going to keep the clap here because the music does have a percussion playing in it. It's very faint due to the loud vocals.
00:23:015 (3) - ^ Sure!
00:23:370 (5) - ^ Same reason as 00:21:240 (3)
00:26:033 (4,5,6) - personally i don't think having these sliders start on red ticks fits the vocals or the rhythm, since the strong beats occur on the tails of the slider and you don't actually click the tails, so it plays oddly for me D: maybe something like this? Fixed ~
00:31:536 (4,5,6,7) - even with AR 9, these overlaps look a bit messy to me especially since they aren't consistent, how about this? it'll maintain your circular flow and look nicer (AR lowered to show all objects) Wow this suggestion is great! Changed.
00:32:956 (1) - imo this slider should curve the other way if you want to maintain your circular flow from before. I understand what you're trying to do here though, so it's ok to leave it as is~ I'll change it to maintain circular flow. Moved 00:33:844 (2) to keep the same type of feel as before the change.
00:37:572 (6,7,8) - i think arranging the rhythm this way would fit the vocals better (unless you're not mapping to vocals? @_@) Oh, yeah. I was mapping to vocals. I guess I probably derped and didn't realize this. Changed.
00:39:524 (3) - move this slider up so it blankets 00:38:992 (2) and is blanketed by 00:39:879 (4) ? hohoho I never intended it to be a blanket but it is now! Changed.
00:41:299 (2) - angle this slider in the same direction as a straight line from 00:40:412 (1) ? Sure.
00:45:205 - maybe add a note here so it doesn't break the momentum you've built up so far? I originally thought that part was not mappable because I heard no sound. But I guess I'll add it in because I could somewhat here something.
00:47:157 (1,2,3) - to better fit what's going on in the music, i'd suggest removing the clap at the end of 1, and putting it on the head of 3. Leaving the normal sampleset on 2 is fine, but personally i think it sounds better without that hitsound Added a clap on 3. The clap at the end of 1 is meant for the "click" sound in the music.
00:48:400 (4,1) - clap on these tails ~ Added!
00:49:909 - i hear a triplet here! maybe add a note? I'm primarily focused on the vocals during the slow part.
00:50:708 (4) - clap on head Sure!
00:51:240 (5) - add a quiet finish on the head to match music Woops. Didn't notice that I missed that. (◕‿◕✿)
00:52:483 (2) - hmm, i think the SV speedup should occur at 00:52:838 (3), since it's the start of a new verse and the music starts to get more upbeat here! Also, it'd be a good idea to NC here (or there, if you choose to change the SV green line) to signal the change to players

00:55:678 (5) - how about NC here to emphasize the change in rhythm? Okay!
00:56:566 (8,1,2,3) - how about this rhythm to fit the vocals a bit better? And so the finish sound can go on the head of a slider rather than the tail! This is a tough one! As much as I want to hit the finish on the slider, the rest of the sliders would have claps on the tails as a result, and the emphasis I want to place here wouldn't be shown. I'll consider it.
01:01:359 (4,6) - this overlap upsets me :(( even with AR 9, it looks quite messy imo D: Actually, I don't really have a suggestion on what to do here @__@ there's endless possiblities! AHHH. noo my overlap teacher needs to teach me about overlaps. :cccc Made it into something like this http://puu.sh/7Mwrs.jpg
01:02:424 (7,8) - Since 8 occurs on a really strong beat, how about unstacking these two (and maybe have a jump)? Made a jump.
01:03:134 (1,3) - whistle on heads to account for the.. tingly... sound in the bg? Added~
01:04:554 (5) - maybe curve the slider like this? Changed.
01:05:086 (1) - clap on tail for hitsound consistency~ Added.
01:05:974 (5) - clap on head ^ Added~
01:08:282 (5,1) - i think the vocals here are quite powerful! What about switching these two on the timeline to emphasize the lady's passionate voice? If you use this rhythm, you can instead use 2 circles instead of the 1/2 slider if you think it leads better into the stream I've been trying to fix this for a while. Most the stream after the 1/1. Thanks! Changed.
01:10:589 (4) - this overlap looks a bit messy to me D: how about moving this a little to make the pattern neater? Sure! Changed.
01:15:205 (8,9,1) - to catch the finish in the background & better fit vocals, try this rhythm? Done ~
01:17:867 (8,9) - personal preference, but this overlap looks messy to me @__@ Cleaned it up a bit.
01:18:933 (2,3) - same here! You're still mapping to the kiai, i'm sure it'd be ok to space these out some :D ^
01:25:501 (3) - add a whistle for violin?
01:25:678 (4) - whistle on tail for some reason~ For "some" reason. HAHA. Sure, added.

Thanks for your mod Raose (:

EDIT: Took everything from normal, and remapped a lot of parts.
Kihhou
I didn't take into account hitsounds. don't even know anything about them myself :(
I've got nothing to improve Trust's Easy and jonathanlfj's Hard

Normal
00:01:359 (2) - move to most emphasized note at 00:01:714 and shorten

00:11:299 (4,5) - move slider start to 00:11:477, the start of vocal, and lengthen to 00:12:009. remove hitcircle
00:18:933 (1) - spinner end at 00:21:595
00:28:163 (6) - move slider to 00:28:163, the start of vocal, and shorten to end at same time as before: slider head (392, 180), slider tail (251, 245). I know the same sliders happen later on that arent on the vocals but it feels weird playing it at that one part
00:40:412 (6,1) - reduce DS. was a sporatic jump
00:51:063 (1,2) - huge jumps on purpose?
00:51:063 - may want to move inherited point to 00:52:838 since music doesnt speed up until then. if so, lower distance for previous sliders
00:54:436 (1) - move to 00:54:613 at vocals
01:04:909 (6) - the slider start and end arent really anywhere in the music. can lengthen to end at vocal if the 01:05:619 change is made
01:05:619 (7) - move to 01:05:796 at vocals
this is what i have:
01:07:217 (1) - theres nothing in the music at the head. shorten to start at 01:07:394 maybe?
01:08:637 (4) - NC to indicate end of the MOERU OOZORAaAAAAaAA! part
01:08:637 (4,5) - move to 01:08:814 to give room for the stretched out vocals and reposition to new DS if it's changed
01:18:933 (2) - i was told twice not to put more than 1 slider reverse on a single 1/4 slider for easy to hard maps b/c it can be hard to read for some people. the slider start is also before the vocals. not sure if thats intended but it threw me off a little.
01:19:998 (3) - replace with hitcircle at 01:20:175? vocals start there

Insane
00:37:749 (7) - curve like... ->that way so it follows up the previous hitcircle?
01:01:359 (4) - move to 01:01:181? since the long vocal starts there. if changed, remove slider and add 2 hitcircles before and after: 01:01:004 hitcircle could be at (240,168) and the 01:01:714 hit circle could be stacked on top at (256, 88) to prepare for the stack at 01:02:424
01:09:524 (7) - vocal start is here. having stream end later on can is a bit misleading
01:09:525 (1,2,3,4,5) - following up on that ^.. these feel out of place. could move them all to the vocal start? if changed, add hitcircle at 01:11:299. possible place to put the hitcircle is (164, 144)
01:09:880 (2,4) - move to fit into each other and not overlap:

I feel like my mod suggestions are too drastic compared to the other mods ive seen where it's like... hitsounds and moving things a tiny bit to make it perfect. nitpicky stuff (things im no good at modding). sorry if im not suppost to make such huge changes :? please ignore them if so.

Nice, you should however +1 to Drain and OD to match the current AR. Or lower AR by 1. I'm comfortable with the current settings~

eh, I'm not too bothered about any sfx or sfx patterns, but maybe Volume --> +10-15% 'cause it's somewhat hard to hear. I don't care too much about that though increased 15%
augh you're killing me with you're lack of grid snap ;_; it's actually not bad without it though lol sorry about that.
anwyays, nothing is bad here (for me). I'm just going full OCD on the aesthetics of the sliders, ignore this if you don't want to change it.

00:04:554 (3) - slider head is 2 pixels higher than slider end
00:18:045 (2) - can be a bit neater and more symmetrical, maybe like this
00:35:086 (2) - end point to (216, 296)
00:47:157 (2) - slider head is 3 pixels higher than slider end
00:56:566 (3) - slider head is 2 pixels lower than slider end
01:07:039 (2) - new combo here instead of 01:06:684 (1) - here done

Tweaked all the pixel stuff!

so many 3/2 rhythms @_@ ;_;

00:13:430 (1) - since you have been trying to catch all the finishes in the music, how about reducing the length of this by 1/2 so it ends at 00:14:317? sounds good
00:32:601 (1,2) - maybe switch these on timeline to fit vocals? nice, changed
01:24:613 - add a 1/1 slider here to catch violin? Good idea, but I don't like to leave less than 1/1 time before the first object after a spinner so I can allow beginners ample time to recover from them.
01:01:004 (4) - maybe move this to 01:01:181 but end at the same spot to match vocals? mmm yes, changed.

Thanks for modding!

00:40:412 (6,1) - reduce DS. was a sporatic jump

this is what i have:

Fixed everything! Remapped Normal with consideration to a lot of suggestions.

Hey, mod from queue 8-)

Insane

00:09:169 (4,5) - Erm in higher diffs like these, I'd see jumps OwO but not objects being placed this closely. It's even closer then what the DS shows me. Please fix.
One way you can do this is just by stacking them, if you want.

00:21:595 (4,5) - Nazi suggestion (sorry!) could you try and blanket these sliders?

00:23:548 (6,7,8,9) - Hmm, interesting. How about adding drum claps on all the hit circles and on the last hit on the mini-slider at 00:23:903? Also make another timing point here so that the hitsonuds aren't too loud.

00:26:921 (7,8,1,2) - Another nazi suggestion, try to make a neat square formation with these notes please.

00:37:572 (6) - Forgot to add the clap on the head here.

00:44:317 (6) - NC?

00:49:998 (3,4) - Are placed too closely, when compared to how 00:48:933 (1,2) - is placed apart (and the objects in both are shown to be 1 beat apart).

00:52:128 (1,2) - Why not make them the same shape?

00:57:896 (5,6,7,1) - How about adding a drum clap on all the notes and the head of 00:57:896 (5,6,7,1) - ? And don't forgot to make a timngi point so that you can lower the hitsound volumes.

01:03:844 (3) - Add finish on the tail to match that cymbal crash heard in the music

01:08:814 (1) - Forgot to add the clap on the head.

01:10:944 (5,6) - Try swapping these objects with their timing points. That way, with the slider starting at 01:11:122, it'll hit and follow through the "me in yume smoothly.

01:20:530 (2,3,4) - Could have claps on them, so it follows with the drum rolls heard in the music.

jonathanlfj's Hard

00:09:524 (5) - Lower the volume for this hitsound please, it sounds a bit too strong here.

00:22:838 (4) - Add finish to hit the cymbal crash heard in the music.

00:54:702 - Either add a note here, or unstack 00:54:613 (4,5) -. Stacking here looks inconsistent because of how you've used it for notes that are 1/2 beats apart, and then for notes that are 1/4 beats apart (like triplets) here.

00:56:566 (3,4) - Unstack as well, similar issue as above. 00:56:211 (2,3) - is 1 full beat apart, but 00:56:566 (3,4) - is only 1/2 beats apart, so this stack may trick players into thinking that it's also 1 beat apart.

01:09:879 (2) - Technically this would be where the NC is instead of 01:09:702 (1) - , since it's the first object to appear in the next rhythm (since it lands on the big whit tick).

01:25:323 (4) - Add finish to hit the cymbal crash heard in the music.

01:25:501 (6) - NC

Normal

00:03:134 (4) - NC, since it's not very common to have a combo stretch over 3 rhythm cycles (usually 2 would be the max).

00:18:400 (1) - Would sound better if it ended at 00:21:595 with a finish instead. That way, it can fully cover the entire vocals echo on the last word
"ta" in matteita. It will also hit the strong (and better) finishing note at 00:20:885

00:36:151 (1) - Forgot to add the clap on the head.
00:40:412 (4) - ^ For both head and tail in this case.
00:44:672 (5) - ^ and ad a NC here, same reason as 00:03:134 (4) -

00:46:447 (2) - Can have a finish on the head for that cymbal crash heard in the music.

00:47:512 (3) - Make this a NC instead of 00:46:092 (1) - , if you agreed to my previous suggestion for 00:44:672 (5) -

00:54:613 (6) - Forgot to add a clap on the head.

01:06:684 (5,1) - Nazi suggestion here (sorry!) try to create a blanket here? It could really neaten the flow some more.

01:08:282 (3) - Add a finish on the head?

01:13:075 (4,5,2) - Another nazi suggestion, these notes aren't stacked properly.

01:18:045 (1) - Sounds off here, because it overruns the strong note (cymbal crash) at 01:18:400.
Try creating this rhythm for 01:18:045 - 01:19:643:

With the slider at 01:18:400 now, its head can hit that strong finishing hitsound, and flow well with the vocals "kai wa". The 1/2 slider after it gives good emphasis to the next strong finishing hitsound on its tail at 01:19:643, and also hits the vocal's saying the strong lyrics "ra wo"

01:20:175 (3) - Forgot to add a clap on the head.
01:20:885 (4) - ^

Trust's Easy

00:13:430 (1) - Add finish on the tail to fulfill that cymbal crash heard in the music.
01:25:323 (1) - ^

Hope this helps! :D

Applied everything and changed a few other things around, thanks for the mod~
jonathanlfj
i had a reply going on but my post somehow borked, so i will just leave a note of things i didnt change

yurunneram's suggestion to change anti-jumps, those are intended to be following vocals with the spacing changes to emphasis the vocal pauses
Raose's add a note suggestion for the same reason as above
10crystalmask01's NC suggestion for 01:09:879 (2), its meant to follow the instrumental layer there and make stackings cleaner

everything else was fixed one way or another, Thanks for modding!
i've changed my diff name to lfj's Hard, my full name sounds too long and redundant: http://puu.sh/8rQCZ.zip

hi

wild mod appears

[General]
  1. Inconsistent kiai, in the hard and insane move the main kiai start from 00:58:341 - to 00:58:518 - or do the opposite in easy and normal
[Trust's Easy]
Placement/Rhythm/Nazi Patterning
  1. 00:01:714 (2) - I'd move this to x300 y316, I think it makes the curve to 1 after look a bit nicer
  2. 00:10:057 (4,1) - swap nc?
  3. 00:18:045 (2) - I think this looks a bit too sharply curved, and it doesn't like up with 1 well as a result. You could totally do some symmetry with this too heh
  4. 00:30:471 (1) - if you shift this up a grid it'll be even with 00:29:051 (2) - , which it seems like was your intention.
  5. 00:39:524 (1,2,3) - looks just a bit weird to me for some reason, I think the fact that 2 doesn't like up with 1's curve well is it. Try something like this
  6. 00:46:092 (4,1) - swap nc? so that it's on the downbeat
  7. If you do ^, try doing this set of nc changes, so that your symmetrical pattern is still the same color but doesn't have super weird comboing
    SPOILER
    1. 00:48:933 (1) - remove
    2. 00:50:708 (4) - NC
    3. 00:52:483 (1,2) - swap nc
  8. 00:52:838 (2,3) - try ending 2 1/2 earlier, and starting 3 1/2 earlier to match so you can map the cymbal hit
  9. 00:55:323 (1,2) - swap nc?
  10. 01:01:181 (4,1) - swap nc? and then nc 01:04:021 (2) - here and remove 01:05:441 (1) - if you do
  11. 01:01:181 (4) - both sides aren't even :< at the very least the red point should be on the sldiertick at 01:01:891 -
  12. 01:12:542 (1,2) - try selecting both and moving to x180 y212, to help with matching the curve again
  13. 01:13:962 (3) - I don't really think this nc is needed
Hitsounding
  1. 00:13:430 (1) - finish on the end?
  2. 01:09:879 (1) - finish on the head? for consistency with 00:58:518 (1) -
[Normal]
Placement/Rhythm/Nazi Patterning
  1. 00:09:524 (3) - I don't think this repeat slider really fits, especially since you skip the cymbal hit. I'd do a 3/2 slider here
  2. 00:13:785 (5) - x388 y168 triangle
  3. 00:16:625 (9) - x268 y180 triangle asdfsdjfklf
  4. 00:18:578 (1) - start this on 00:18:578 - so it's with the vocal?
  5. 00:31:181 (4,5) - check yo blanket. 00:30:471 (3,5) - being so close together also doesn't look that great
  6. 00:34:021 (2,3) - I think this would be a lot easier to play if you stacked them, just my opinion though
  7. 00:35:441 (5) - I think you could go with 2 circles here instead, so that you can have the cymbal hit be a click (and the new combo)
  8. 00:39:524 (3) - a 1/2 repeat slider would fit really well here imo
  9. 00:40:412 (4,2) - I would reuse the slider here, just for neatness
  10. 00:46:447 (4) - try going with a 1/1 slider + circle here, for the same reason as 00:35:441 (5) -
  11. 00:47:867 (2) - uh, might want to fix this slider so it has the new slider code hahaha
  12. 00:50:353 (4) - might be nice to curve this more so the blanket is neater
  13. 00:51:240 (1) - if you want this to be visibly different from 00:52:128 (3) - , try making it straight instead of slightly curved.
  14. 00:51:773 (2,3) - check yo blanket
  15. 00:55:678 (1) - move to x120 y256 so that it's lined up with 4?
  16. 01:01:181 (4) - try starting this 1/2 earlier, would fit with the vocal well. you could even do symmetry with it :>
  17. 01:07:039 (1) - lol
  18. 01:12:365 - not really a fan of how you switched to just 1/1 rhythm here, I think you could redo this part to fit the vocal better like you had before
  19. 01:17:335 (5,1) - should make these the same slider, or at least much more similar in shape
  20. 01:21:063 - add a note? to map the finish
  21. 01:27:098 (1) - I think you could start this spinner on 01:26:832 - like trust did
Hitsounding
  1. 00:04:199 (2) - remove whistle? I think this sound is a bit too soft for the whistle, and puts more emphasis on 00:04:554 (3) - instead
  2. 00:47:157 - I think 35% is too soft for this section, I can barely hear the notes here
  3. 00:51:240 (1) - finish on head?
  4. 01:07:927 (2) - I think swapping this finish for a clap sounds better, also might be some unnecessary green lines around here
  5. 01:09:879 (1) - finish on head? for consistency with 00:58:518 (1) -
[lfj's Hard]
Placement/Rhythm/Nazi Patterning
  1. 00:03:134 (1,2) - seems like a pretty large jump for the intro, even if it is after a slider. Might be pretty easy to read this as 1/1 spacing
  2. 00:22:128 (2) - you sure you don't want this on x268 y100? so that the manual stack includes 2? dunno that's how i would do this.
  3. 00:41:122 (3,1) - might be a pretty sudden spacing change, especially because of the 1/2 gap
  4. 01:05:441 (1) - remove nc for consistency with the sections before?
  5. 01:07:039 (4,1) - swap nc? so that it's on the stronger vocal?
  6. 01:21:063 (1,2) - red point isn't in the center on these aa nazi
  7. 01:24:613 (2) - like before, x369 y108?
Hitsounding
  1. (b'-')b
[Insane]
Placement/Rhythm/Nazi Patterning
  1. 00:17:690 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - were you going for a star here? might be cool to make it an even one if so
  2. 00:30:826 (3) - this stuck out to me as looking a bit odd, try curving it a little bit more? like 00:12:897 (1) -
  3. 00:35:353 (5,6) - I would space these away from 4, I think it plays a bit smoother with the quicker pace of insanes, like this
  4. 00:49:998 (1,2,3,1) - you could go for a trapezoid here to give this a neater shape
  5. 00:56:566 (4,5) - this was really confusing to read, I thought there was a 1/1 gap between these like you had before. also doesn't seem like the best rhythm since the finish is on the end of 00:56:743 (5) - , try this instead
  6. 00:57:808 (8) - nc for the stream would be cool
  7. 00:58:163 (1) - I'd do two circles here so that the cymbal hit is a click
Hitsounding
  1. 00:23:903 (7,9) - add drum claps here?
  2. 00:47:157 - like in normal, I think this is too soft
  3. 01:09:347 (10,11,12,13) - the snare kicks in here, I think you could add claps to match them
  4. 01:20:708 (5,6) - swap the clap? sounds better to me
:D

go go go

Took everything. Deviated a little bit from the following suggestions in Insane:

captin1 wrote:

01:20:708 (5,6) - swap the clap? sounds better to me
Swapped them, and added a drum clap where the original clap was located before the swap.

captin1 wrote:

01:09:347 (10,11,12,13) - the snare kicks in here, I think you could add claps to match them
Instead of using claps, I used the drum sampleset because it's more subdued and fits better than the loud soft clap. Also started it at 01:09:258 (9) instead, since I felt that there was a drum sound in there that was different from the rest.

captin1 wrote:

00:35:353 (5,6) - I would space these away from 4, I think it plays a bit smoother with the quicker pace of insanes, like this
This is a little shaky for me. The first play through that part, it wasn't the easiest pattern for anyone to sightread. So to adjust it, I maintained the similar placements, but snapped at 1.0x to smooth out the way it plays with respect to the quicker pace of the Insane.

Thanks for the mod and star captin!

Let's get this ranked.

[General]
  1. remove "reyshel" as a tag on Trust's difficulty.
  2. Not sure if you want to keep that first kiai flash on jonny's diff. If he wants it there, cool. Just not sure if that was a mistake or not.
  3. Disable widescreen support on Trust's diff and Insane
[Trust's Easy]
  1. 00:09:524 - maybe lower the volume here a little bit, the hitsound sticks out a bit too much IMO.
  2. 00:17:157 (2,1) - Maybe instead of two circles, use a 3/2 slider to avoid polarity problems.
  3. 00:18:045 (2) - same as the first drum-hitclap, lower volume fits better I think since the sound is pretty quiet in the music.
  4. 00:39:524 (1) - a whistle on the tail fits pretty well with that piano noise.
  5. 01:01:181 (1) - a whistle here fits well with the vocal, and also provides a hitsound which I think is missed since there isn't one from 00:59:583 - to 01:02:601.
  6. 01:08:282 (3,4) - I propose this rhythm in this section, which I think fixes a polarity issue as well as provides some nice emphasis. http://puu.sh/8zGw8.jpg. The 3/2 slider fits well with the vocal, and the 1/1 slider afterward starts on the glissando so you get nice emphasis on both of these. This is the most exciting part of the kiai IMO, so I think it fits well also. Let me know what you think.
  7. 01:08:814 (4) - whistle on the repeat to match that glissando in the music
  8. 01:13:962 (1) - remove this NC, doesn't seem necessary
  9. 01:26:832 (1) - Maybe a small issue, but maybe start this spinner a bit later? It might be intimidating for a new player to see this spinner suddenly appear while they're still most likely playing the slider.
[Normal]
  1. 00:09:524 (3) - maybe add a drum-hitclap on the head here, I think it fits well. As I suggested to Trust, I would lower the volume here a bit if you choose to do this. Also, add a finish to the end of this slider.
  2. 00:14:850 (6) - NC here I think, combo gets a bit too long.
  3. 00:18:578 (1) - Maybe put a circle here, then begin the spinner at 00:18:755 - instead so that the player gets to hit an object on that strong finish.
  4. 00:30:471 (3) - I feel that there should be an NC here. It's a bit awkward comboing up to this part, but I would suggest that you put an NC at 00:27:453 (4), even though it seems a bit odd it matches your comboing pattern. If you do this also remove the NC at 00:29:051 (1).
  5. 00:39:524 (3) - add a whistle at the end of this slider, I hear the bell sound that you've been hitsounding here.
  6. 00:50:353 (4) - NC here, and remove NC at 00:51:240 (1). This matches your pattern better.
  7. 01:02:069 (1) - whistle on the head of this slider
  8. 01:01:181 (4,1) - switch the NCs here, makes more sense to me.
  9. 01:04:376 (4) - NC here also, matches your pattern and breaks up this big combo.
  10. 01:04:021 - add a circle here perhaps? There's a strong vocal and drum part here so I highly suggest this.
  11. 01:09:169 - I would also add a circle here because there's a lot of strong stuff happening in the music. Actually, a better way to do this I think would be to delete 01:09:524 (5), and add a 1/1 slider at 01:09:169. This would map the glissando+the drum roll onto the slider, which matches really well and isn't too difficult.
  12. 01:11:122 (1) - your comboing seems to get a bit off here, so here's some fixes. remove NC here.
  13. 01:13:075 (4) - NC
  14. 01:13:962 (1) - remove NC
  15. 01:15:205 (3) - NC
  16. 01:16:625 (5,6) - this seems like a mistake, not sure what was supposed to be here. If this is the way it was supposed to be, then I would suggest not doing this antijump.
  17. 01:18:045 (1) - use a soft-hitfinish addition on the tail I think
  18. 01:24:968 (2) - I would change this to a whistle. Two finishes in a row like that is a bit too loud.
  19. 01:25:323 (3) - I think you could also add a finish to the head of this slider. Sounds pretty good to me.
[lfj's Hard]
  1. 00:00:294 (1) - I'm actually not such a fan of this slider, mainly that I don't hear any sounds on the repeat or tail. I suppose one way to do it is to silence the repeat and tail, but I would suggest just using a circle here to make it less complicated.
  2. 00:31:181 (4,5) - nazi thing, i suppose this blanket could be a bit better :)
  3. 00:31:359 (5) - whistle on the sliderhead here to match the vocal? Not too much hitsounding in this part so maybe it would be nice to have one here.
  4. 01:02:246 (3,4) - whistle on both of these, or maybe just (3). The music has that chime sound in the back that matches well with that.
  5. 01:14:850 (6) - the clap on the repeat is a bit much I think, if you listen to the music the sound is softer here than the claps on the head and tail. Maybe lower the volume or use a drum-hitnormal here.
[Insane]

This diff has come a long way :)

  1. I kind of think OD8 is unnecessary for this kind of difficulty. Up to you here.
  2. 00:20:530 (2) - a bit of a nazi thing, but move this down a bit? Right now it is very close to the head of 00:19:997 (1) - and I think it would look a bit tidier if they were further apart.
  3. 00:21:595 (1,2,3) - I think the normal-hitnormals here are a bit much. The way I would do it would be a soft-finish on (1), then a soft-whistle on the heads of (2,3). I think this way matches those strings in the music better and isn't as noisy sounding.
  4. 00:24:791 (2,1,2,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,1,2,3,4,1) - for this section I would recommend doing something like jonny's hitsounding on his diff. Right now, having no hitsounds in this part isn't so great, so I would suggest adding some soft-hitwhistles to match the piano and the vocals.
  5. 00:35:353 (5) - clap
  6. 00:35:441 (6) - clap on head, matching the drums here.
  7. 00:45:205 (2,4) - This blanket can be improved to be more like 00:44:317 (1,3).
  8. 00:46:092 (1,2,3,4,5) - A couple things here. I hear a drum at 00:46:270 - which should be mapped. I also don't think there is a sound at 00:46:980 (5), so that should be deleted. Another thing you can do in addition to this is have a 1/2 slider at 00:46:802 - which would preserve the movement going into 00:47:157 (1) while having no clickable object at 00:46:980 - so that there is no emphasis on a place with no musical element.
  9. 00:49:731 (2,3) - This triplet isn't mapped to anything. Rather, there is a drum triplet at 00:49:909 - which should be mapped. http://puu.sh/8zJ0E.jpg
  10. 00:56:566 (4,5) - I think unstacking these would be nice. There isn't the giant emphasis on strong sounds like 00:56:033 (2,3), and these lead to a slider, so I think unstacking them and having them flow into 00:56:921 (6) would be nice. It would have the player start moving a little earlier and building momentum into the five note stream. http://puu.sh/8zJwj.jpg
  11. 00:58:341 (1) - I like an NC here since the combo starts getting a bit long, and this would match the beginning of the kiai as well.
  12. 01:00:649 (3) - a whistle fits on the head really well here
  13. 01:01:891 (3) - whistle
  14. 01:02:069 (4) - whistles, can do both head and tail if you want but definitely the head here.
  15. 01:02:424 (5) - soft-hitwhistle addition here, there's these chime sounds going on in these three that would match really well with whistles

I think there is a lot more you can do with this difficulty in terms of hitsounding. I'm not going to go through and list all of the changes I would do because I think it would be a helpful exercise for you to do it yourself. The soft-hitwhistle is your friend. Use it a lot. Some good places to add them are when there are vocals, piano, string instruments, chimes, soft cymbal sounds, etc. Anything that sticks out from the music is a pretty good candidate for a hitsound, and soft-hitwhistles fit the bill a lot of the time. Go through the diff on a slower speed and listen for things that stick out like some of the sounds I mentioned. You will find that there's a lot of things that sound really good with a soft-hitwhistle added.
That's it from me, good luck! I hope to see this ranked soon.

Placement/Rhythm/Nazi Patterning
  1. 00:03:134 (1,2) - seems like a pretty large jump for the intro, even if it is after a slider. Might be pretty easy to read this as 1/1 spacing
  2. 00:22:128 (2) - you sure you don't want this on x268 y100? so that the manual stack includes 2? dunno that's how i would do this. in intended a perfect overlap for 00:22:128 (2,4) -
  3. 00:41:122 (3,1) - might be a pretty sudden spacing change, especially because of the 1/2 gap
  4. 01:05:441 (1) - remove nc for consistency with the sections before?
  5. 01:07:039 (4,1) - swap nc? so that it's on the stronger vocal? the NC was intentionally swapped to keep it on the anti jump as suggested by a previous modder
  6. 01:21:063 (1,2) - red point isn't in the center on these aa nazi
  7. 01:24:613 (2) - like before, x369 y108? as noted above

  4. 01:02:246 (3,4) - whistle on both of these, or maybe just (3). The music has that chime sound in the back that matches well with that.
  5. 01:14:850 (6) - the clap on the repeat is a bit much I think, if you listen to the music the sound is softer here than the claps on the head and tail. Maybe lower the volume or use a drum-hitnormal here. they actually sound the same for me, but i lowered overall volume so its not as disruptive
no reply means its applied as-is
Thanks for the mods!

oh boi lets do this

quick recheck via irc, didn't find anything to mention in the gds. bubbled!

SPOILER
2014-05-06 02:04 captin1: 00:49:288 (3) - i know it's not your intention but this looks like a misplaced blanket atm, think you could move the head down so it's maybe in like a triangle with 00:47:512 (1,2,3) -
2014-05-06 02:04 captin1: in normal
2014-05-06 02:05 Giralda: done
2014-05-06 02:05 captin1: you could also add a whistle on the tail :>
2014-05-06 02:05 Giralda: on 00:49:288 (3) - ?
2014-05-06 02:05 captin1: yeah
2014-05-06 02:06 Giralda: Done
2014-05-06 02:06 captin1: 01:04:554 (2) - normal hit should be on the head, not the tail?
2014-05-06 02:06 captin1: 01:04:021 (5) - finish?
2014-05-06 02:07 Giralda: done both
2014-05-06 02:07 captin1: 01:16:270 (2) - finish? with soft addition
2014-05-06 02:08 Giralda: done
2014-05-06 02:08 captin1: in insane, 00:09:879 (5) - remove finish? think the whistle is enough for this one
2014-05-06 02:09 Giralda: done
2014-05-06 02:10 captin1: 00:19:465 (3) - is this drum sample intentional? seems like the only note in this section you used it
2014-05-06 02:10 Giralda: 00:15:205 (3,4,5) - Should the whistle be on the 3 and 5 or just 4 here?
2014-05-06 02:11 Giralda: Nyquill heard something that sounded like a drum there so he said use it
2014-05-06 02:11 captin1: sounds fine to me as is
2014-05-06 02:11 captin1: kk
2014-05-06 02:12 captin1: 00:56:743 (5) - normal sample?
2014-05-06 02:13 Giralda: yes
2014-05-06 02:13 Giralda: oh then this 00:57:453 (7) - might need to be a normal with soft addition finish
2014-05-06 02:13 captin1: 00:59:761 (1) - whistle on the head? same 01:11:122 (1) - here
2014-05-06 02:14 captin1: yeah
2014-05-06 02:14 Giralda: done
2014-05-06 02:14 captin1: 00:56:921 (6) - you could nc this if you want, with the strong vocal
2014-05-06 02:15 Giralda: kinda conflicts with the nc at 00:57:808 - though
2014-05-06 02:15 captin1: pretty colors
2014-05-06 02:15 Giralda: okay fine w
2014-05-06 02:15 captin1: it's an insane so a few extra ncs like that work well
2014-05-06 02:16 Giralda: I guess it's okay to be more liberal with the comboing
2014-05-06 02:18 captin1: ah didn't notice this before but 01:26:121 (5,6) - starting on blue ticks might be a little weird
2014-05-06 02:18 captin1: opinon tho
2014-05-06 02:19 captin1: also 01:26:743 - not having a click is a bit underwhelming
2014-05-06 02:19 Giralda: Any ideas on how to improve01:25:678 (2,3,4,5,6) -
2014-05-06 02:23 captin1: i think it would be really fun to end like http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1579005, but if you want to go on the safer side you could go more like http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1579008
2014-05-06 02:25 captin1: lol comma breaks link, oops
2014-05-06 02:25 captin1: this will probably be it, didn't find anything worth mentioning in the gds
2014-05-06 02:30 Giralda: mmks updating
2014-05-06 02:30 captin1: cool
2014-05-06 02:31 captin1: redl'ing
2014-05-06 02:31 captin1: had to have the last guy submit again cause of the random update on download bug
2014-05-06 02:32 Giralda: oh :s
2014-05-06 02:33 captin1: looks good

  1. Gap between Normal and Hard is pretty large. Considering the difficulty of the other difficulties I propose the following changes to be either taken as a whole or not at all:
    1. Hard 00:46:802 (6) - change to two circles
    2. Hard 00:52:749 (7) - remove
    3. Hard 00:55:234 (7) - remove
    4. Normal 01:02:069 (2,3) - http://puu.sh/8PsAe.jpg
    5. Normal 01:05:264 (3) - follow rhythm more closely
    6. Normal 01:18:045 (1) - 1/2 repeat
    7. Normal 01:19:110 (3) - http://puu.sh/8PsI7.jpg
[Normal]
  1. 00:35:796 (1) - Spacing abnormally large here.
[Easy]
  1. 01:25:323 (1,1) - Would suggest against having another spinner that follows 01:21:063 (1) - so closely. I'd just remove it entirely and remap that to http://puu.sh/8PsWL.jpg.
P.S. rank
jonathanlfj
@those: i didnt really apply them the way you suggested, but i reduced all the spacings for the combos you mentioned so they are easier to aim
