Demo next Tuesday. NA gets retail + digital, but since Europeans are inferior they only get digital. :)

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/06/ ... can-debut/

Maybe this should be in Otaku Culture because the only reason I'm posting this is because it's significant news for otaku.

...But if the game is good I'll get it because rhythm games YAY!

Bought the Japanese version for a friend and pretty much played the Vita one already.
I don't really need to understand Japanese to play the game.

Damn if I only knew they were going to release it in english. Oh well.

Hmm...
It would be interesting to see how the western community would react to this although I guess it's intended for Otakus in the western region.
But regardless, thanks SEGA, I'm most likely going to buy it when it's released.

^_______^ I waited so long for this to happen.. I don't mind digital :3

Oh yeah. Somewhat related to this:
Raging Bull
Cool. Only Project Diva I ever played is Arcade and it's very expensive. Seems like I might get this instead.

Damn you Americans on being able to get a retail version. Guess i'll have to order online x.x, it seems really interesting though..I hope they'll make the gameplay good. I really want to pick this title up D:
At least then I'll have something else to play besides my Neptunia games :p

i'm really excited even though i don't own a ps3. my friend does, though, and she's planning on buying it. i hope they don't make the songs in english or anything, but i doubt they would do that.

That guy got 26 fines only :/
Guess I need to reply that song and get better.

The stars are so much harder on the Vita though ;_;

I really didn't like how much jackhammering you had to do in this game when I played it.

Might pass, even if its great that NA gets retail.

How so? You can use the pads and buttons in the console games so couldn't you just alternate between the two for fast stuff to avoid jackhammering? For example, that guy does just that 50-something seconds in, even though the part isn't *that* fast, just tiring:

So excited! I've already imported the Japanese Vita version, maybe this'll push me to finally get that platinum trophy <3

The only things they're translating are the menus. The songs will still be in Japanese and the subtitles are going to be in Romaji.

There's not as much jackhammering as you think. Normal X/O/Square/Triangle notes can be hit with the D-Pad, which allows you to alternate them. Some songs have a fast arrow note pattern (arrow notes require you to hit the button simultaneously with the corresponding D-pad direction), but that doesn't really appear that often.

After viewing a lot of youtube videos I'm getting this Day 1 for sure. :P
DeletedUser_1780855
I had all the ones available on psp as CSO's.

They were good as a time waster but not enough to fan over.

Don't get me wrong I love miku but I don't see how people can rave about a rythm game.
Blaziken
Played the Demo today. Want.

Jackhammering? I don't know what you're talking about.

Game looks interesting.
Gonna pass though as I don't own a ps3 and I don't always do vocaloid.
Akisun
I was thinking about getting it through the PSN store. It does looks fun.
WillTai
Yeah, I came across the game on PS3 when my little brother downloaded the demo. I played a bit and it's fun :D
Scarlet Devil_old_1
Oh yea
Hodgepodge_old
I played the demo and I like how you can customize the vocaloids. I haven't been on my ps3 today, but I like the middle dress option for Miku.
Blaziken
If this game doesn't come out before the new Udyr skin, sorry miku.
I'm really impatient
Neko_girl_chibi
I can not wait to come out this beautiful game of miku * W * <33333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333

The demo is good. I am planning on pre ordering the game.

August 27, 2013 is now the official release date of Project DIVA F English ver. It's only for US.
I personally already pre-ordered it, now i have to wait until the 27th aug.
If anyone want to pre-order: http://www.gamestop.com/ps3/games/hatsu ... a-f/109941 (if you pre-order the retail copy in GameStop, you'll receive a Snow Miku 2013 module and custom PS3 theme with 10 unique backgrounds).

It is not just out for the United States... It is coming to Mexico and Canada as well..... Please double check your facts.
Also, it is coming to Europe (Just on PSN) just after the North American Release.

Thank you for correcting me and for the links. Every website I was looking was telling it will be release the 27th august in US only, and maybe later for EU. Looks like I didn't look at the right place.
Sorry, my mistake!! (シ_ _)シ

Don't worry about it. I found the info on a YouTube Video:

Mianki
Downloaded it and I've played 3 songs + tutorial. I can't handle all this happiness this game gives me :33333

A must buy for anyone who enjoys Vocaloid songs.
Chainsaw-chan_old
I got this a while ago but Im just now seeing this forum
anyway
while the game is nice and all(ohmagershersvuucaloidzinmuricasquel)I think it could be a lot better
especially with song choices
meiko only has 2 songs and they're really random to me and a bit weird
while kaito only has one solo song(the only other song he actually sings in also has luka and miku)
so I feel like they were mostly ignored
and they missed very popular songs that could've been better choices then some
also I hate the oddly tuned album version of black rock shooter. just saying.
my opinion here anyway.
other wise it's nice to actually have vocaloid get something significant and big in the US and Im enjoying it
I just hope there's some good dlc songs
AnreFM
hmm knowing SEGA, it might actually has some songs dlc in the future lol
TakuMii
A lot of the popular songs weren't included since this is actually the 4th game in the series. The song list in North America is exactly the same as the Japanese version (and the only DLC song they got was PoPiPo with the Japanese SCE mascots dancing in the background).

But I'm really hoping this game was successful enough to bring Project Diva F 2nd overseas. They haven't released sales numbers, so we have no idea how well it sold (other than the fact that the launch day stock sold out in most stores within the first week, but rumour has it that they never stocked that much to begin with).
