its not worth it, its really jarring to hear a loud hitsound in the middle of the slider where you dont even click
if you still want to do it, there needs to be a slider tick in the spot where you want to put the hitsound. if there isn't one there already, let it go. increasing the slider tick rate of the entire map just for hitsounds is
not worth itif you do have a slider tick in the correct spot:
1. ctrl+shift+p on that spot and change the sampleset to a custom sampleset that's different from the rest of the map, then ctrl+shift+p again after the spot and go back to the original sampleset (that way only the slider tick has a different sampleset)
2. put a copy of the hitsound file you want to use in the map's folder. if you're using default hitsounds, you'll have to do some digging online

name the file correctly. if you used a sampleset with a number other than 1, add that number at the end of the filename
