yea, if you want a higher bpm, just pick a different song.

it only seems low because most songs that get mapped and played often are fast so they can make for challenging and interesting maps, since its a rhythm game after all.

this is true but I think zel meant speeding up a song in an audio editor, not just mapping double bpm, which wouldnt functionally do anything other than increase base SV as the song is still the same speed.

if you dont perfectly double it the bpm could be decimal
