i was just wondering because i have a period of freetime with my friends on the computers and i was wondering if you can just drag the osu folder into programs files and fire it up.

Your school firewall could block any online feature though.
I didn't have a lot to do during my extra time in high school either, especially in grades nine and ten, /shrug. I don't find it that unusual.CDFA wrote:
Why the hell would you play osu! during school like do you srs have nothing else to do.
I can't play it at school mostly because I go to a fairly large high school (~3600 student pop.) and there's only 7-8 computers in the library, so we can only use them for school purposes since people will get pissed if you're playing silly games when they need to type an entire essay.
And plus osu.ppy.sh is blocked by the firewall.
But like I'm still curious (Not in a mean way, just in a curious way) why people would play osu! during school like I spend most of school just like wishing I had more time to do things and you guys are like "recreation" like omq.
Most schools have fairly low end computers. It's all about the money. =P0814587134 wrote:

what is this, the 1990s? Doesn't everyone in North America have their own computer by now?CDFA wrote:

We have computers, We also have under funded schools with rules stating no personal electronic devices.awp wrote:

Well, I have 90-minute spare blocks on my schedule, and my school's lunch break is 75 minutes long. I have plenty of time to do whatever I feel like.CDFA wrote:

Most people are lazy tho and they're like "I'll just do it at school no biggie"awp wrote:

The UK seems to have a lot in common with America.RBRat3 wrote:

Actually, most people go to school because it's pretty much required, they don't have a choice. And by the time they're old enough to drop out they're already that close to the end so why not finish it up, also they don't want to be branded a high school dropout.Yikari wrote:

I am studying for a master degree, I don't give a damn about it, I play during classes, I barely study on my own and I am getting A+'sYikari wrote:

The majority of kids at my high school didn't even have a family computer, much less their own comp.awp wrote:

Then again the high school I went to currently has a 90% free-and-reduced lunch rate... >_>
The middle class area of north Minneapolis. Most of north Minneapolis is poor, though. Basically, there are a couple streets that separate the "nice" area from the "poor" areas. I will also admit that the free/reduced lunch rate was only 80% when I went. I did like my school a lot, though. Somehow.dkun wrote:

You do realize that Minecraft is 10000% more process consuming than Osu right?Eldirlol wrote:
Our school computers can barely run minecraft at lowest settings so i think its hard to play osu! on them :/
We had Windows XP running on 2(?)Gb RAM and Core 2 Duo until they decided to buy new computers. New computers have Windows 7 running on 12Gb RAM, hexa-core Intel Xeon CPU E5645 @ 2.40GHz and Nvidia Quadro 2000. We also have not so good computers running Windows 7 on 8Gb RAM, quad-core Intel Xeon CPU E31230 @ 3.20GHz and ATI FirePro V4800.Ijah wrote:
I could never play osu! at college, they had Windows 7 running on 3GB RAM, Pentium 4 (1 core @ 2.4Ghz) and NO VIDEO CARD.
I know right? It's so adorable. I just caught myself staring at it for probably about 3 minutes straight. owomathexpert9981 wrote:
