Reading/concentration skill
  1. high AR - The Quick Brown Fox - The Big Black
  2. low AR - Susumu Hirasawa - Aurora 2
  3. marathons - Nico Nico Douga - Ryuuseigun
  4. play with video/storyboard - P*Light - Poppin' Shower
  5. long draining maps - Renard - Because Maybe! pt. 3, DragonForce - Revolution Deathsquad
  6. Hard Rock & insane - Hardrock affects fruit positioning and increases Approach Rate (making fruits falling faster). Hard Rock & insane skill means being capable of catching jumps that doesn't fit in with mapping.
  7. Double Time & insane - Double Time increases map speed 1.5x. Because of that, catcher's speed is also increased.. Double Time & insane skill means having fast fingers ready to react to increased BPM.
  8. Hidden & AR7- - Hidden makes fruits dissappear after reaching half of the screen, Approach Rate = 7 means fruits are falling really slow. Hidden & AR7 skill means being patient and having good idea about when fruit falls.
  9. Flashlight & 500+ combo - Flashlight makes part of the screen invisible and therefore requires catcher to remember fruit position. Flashlight & 500+ combo skill means having good memorization of map and being confident about catcher positioning.
  10. Easy+Hidden & insane - Easy dramatically lowers Approach Rate and increases fruit size, even on insane difficulty maps. Easy+Hidden & insane skill means ability to catch fruit based mostly on rhythm and disregarding what is seen on the screen.
  11. low playcount for the best play - Being capable of bringing out many good plays in a row as opposed to rare lucky plays.
  12. rare lucky plays - Being capable of playing one map lots of times and eventually producing one outstanding result that is hard to recreate next time.
  13. tournament pressure - Making a good use of the only play in multiplayer room.
Edit 2013-04-24: "patient playing" removed.
Edit 2013-04-25: Putting on list some great droplet maps. "Long draining streams" changed into "Long draining maps". Adding explanation to few skills.

Patient Playing is any of the marathon maps, but most preferably Because Maybe! because of length + difficulty
HardRock & Insane is probably uh i recommend Lovely Girls Anthem (my first HR map) and Punk Anthem Track

Because Maybe! is stamina draining thanks to dynamic motion, I should reorganize it, because stamina/fighting boredom are different skills.
Regarding HR/DT/HD+something I think there are way too many maps to consider some of them more important than other.

I was just suggesting easy HR/DT maps, but then again you can just look for a map with many HR/DT plays, cause it would mean its easy as fuck.

Also I think you should also put timing jumps (the likes of maps that are slow BUT is jumpy, and requires, well not really perfect but precise timing on jumps)

I think Nightmare Party Night is the "timing jump" kind of map, something Velper is fond of. I called it precision, IMO "precision" depends on both positioning and timing.

I would add jump prediction skill for AR10, some people would assimilate this to luck but I think getting used to "how standard insanes are mapped" makes you guess where are the jumps. It helps you a lot on FCing AR10 by memorizing less jumps. No idea about maps, it's a general skill obtained by playing a lot of insane standards maps in ctb with AR10 mode on. I think this skill is also present in FL playing but I'm not a FL player so I can't really say.

i think "jump prediction" falls under HR, probably HR in a map for the first time

but that map is just shit, is not well mapped and has a wrong timing ...
add a map that really deserves a place there
Also in my opinion the map for spinners should be a ranked one!!

This table actually is too big. It seems there's no need to place both "High AR" skill and "Hard Rock & insane" skill, even though they're kind of different (High AR is still based on rhythmical placement of fruit where Hard Rock generates random jumps).
