Hello :)
Have you wondering about how hitsound works? most of them use .wav files you can also use mp3 files there

For universal
menuclick.wav - used while selecting songs
menu back - used the return to selection of songs and you click continue while in game or used to come back to jukebox even in multplayer
menu-hit - used to confirm what you have done

In game
normal, soft, drum-hitnormal, hitwhistle, hitclap, hitfinish, sliderslide and sliderwhistle.wav- used when you click a note depending how mapper sets,

to have custom hitsounds for these, make sure to do this formula [hitsound+custom number and set it the same in editor to work]
for hitsounds in taiko, simply attach taiko- to your hitsounds exept for sliderslide and slider whistle

aplause.wav used when you pass all the sections after you play a song
comboburst.wav - used when you have reach milestones of 30,60,100 and so on

countdown hitsounds
cout3, count2, count1, readys, and gos.wav used sounds to signal player
spinner hitsounds
spinnerspin.wav- used while you are spinning
spinnerbonus.wav-used to signal when you already clear the spinner

Misc
shutter.wav - used when you capture a screenshot
