When I create my Mania maps the first thing I do after finding the BPM is to pretend to already be playing the map with the keyboard just to give me an idea of what the map could look like after I finish creating it. But what if instead of just pretending it could actually be a way of making Mania maps? Of course there would be a lot of human errors here and there since you're just playing it while listening to the song but after your whole maps has already a base settled or at least a part of it, you could just go back and edit it with the mouse.
