I actually used to use both thumb when I started to play 7k, but I started to use only one thumb because it's easier for LN/Noodle charts.
My right thumb uses my wrist movement and I'm faster with it but I'm afraid I'll develop some kind of injury from using my wrist a lot.
My left thumb moves independently so I have more finger independence with it. I'm more accurate and hitting complex pattern is easier but I'm much slower with it.
Most of my muscle memory is with my right thumb so if I switch to my left thumb would it be bad for my muscle memory?
Should I keep the alternating between both thumbs playstyle?
update: I noticed when I put my whole arm flat on the table or raise my wrist high, all my fingers will move independently including my thumb. Also, I decided to return to mainly smashing the spacebar with both my thumbs at the same time.
