I find it quite distracting , more distracting than the leaderboard at the corner , as if it flashes I will most likely miss.

It is a little update and will work like the TAB button where you can remove the small leaderboard.. It would be helpful and a cool thing to have

you'll need that to know how's your acc when you play a map
if you get distracted by it, it means you are not concertrating well, which is causing a bad habit of yours.
So learn to concertrate while playing so you'll get distracted by it.

It's far up in a corner, simply don't look at it and it won't be a bother.

And skin it to something subtle, perhaps.

Or just skin all numbers to blank images. That way you wont have anything to distract you at all.
