Is the Wacom Intuos S (newest model released in 2018) good for osu? Please answer or suggest me another good tablet if you know one ^_^

P.s. I want to use the tablet also for drawing, not only for osu so it better have a nice driver and good drawing programs. Thanks!

Not sure about the drawing part but I have a tablet list currently available to buy I give people. Ranked from best to worst for osu.

When I say smoothing it means it smooths out the cursor to make smooth movements and that adds some delay.

Wacom 472: basically the same as the Wacom 480s, no lag, and smoothing

Wacom CTH/CTL-480: Tablet with no lag and smoothing. However, is pricy to buy because it's not made anymore

Wacom CTH/CTL-470: Tablet also has no lag, need to buy 2nd hand because not sold anymore

Gaomon S620: has the least amount of built-in smoothing from all the tablets minus the Wacoms I listed.

Don't buy unless you need to. They all have lots of smoothing. still listed from best to worst. (they all have about the same amount of smoothing)

Veikk S640: the pen is lighter and does not need a battery, the tablet is the flattest.

XP Pen G430S: a better huion and does not need a battery for pen

Huion H420: has the heaviest pen because it needs a battery not good for osu

In short, if you are on a budget buy the Gaomon, but if you want the best of the best buy the 472. The Wacoms have the highest polling rate or refresh rate or something out of all the tablets too if that something you care about for osu.

Also if someone wants to better format this they can I spent like an hour trying to do that and it doesn't look right.
I hope this helps not just you but other players that come along looking for a tablet.

Your choice, but I'd personally recommend any Wacom Tablet like the one I currently have ^^

It's Bluetooth so all you have to do is hook it up to your PC/Laptop and you're all set! The pen doesn't have to charge, but your drawing tablet does :D

Bought recently One by Wacom S. Quite good: light pen, easy grip, but the friction is strong comparing to my old genius tablet :/. One more important thing is the ability to map active area.

Embarrassing thing is that I bought Intuos M for drawing and One S solely for osu -_-. Alas, I'm satisfied with both of them.

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to add to this forum post. From my research and now using the One and watching reviews and such, the One is the best performing tablet that you can get at the moment. I now own a One and can tell it already made me a better player after using the Gaomon S620. As NikuCzeko said, the friction is really bad meaning you will need a tablet cover, but personally, I would always recommend a tablet cover just for the protection of your pen nibs. The next tablet I want to talk about is the 4100p by Wacom. This will probably be another one you hear recommended. The 4100p is just an upgraded One with a better pen. The trade-off is $20 USD, which to me does not make it worth it for an upgrade. Although, if you plan to do some graphic design, then it 100% is the tablet of choice for you.

To wrap this up neatly, the One by Wacom is the best tablet for osu!. If you'd like to do graphic design and play osu!, then the best tablet is the 4100p by Wacom. You will need a tablet cover for both as the surface is very rough and go through pen nibs very fast. To add, the best tablet imo for your money if you're looking to save is the Gaomon S620. Again, hopefully this helps!

Its good but its not the best. The XPPen Deco 640 is great for its price but I personally use the G430S, been using it for years up until now and it still hits the spot. They both have higher levels of pressure sensitivity, report rate, and active area.

I recently got the ctl-472 after using the ctl-4100wl for a year and a half (had this tablet for 7 years but didn't play osu!) and I can say that the ctl-472 is a very good choice
