Question about receiving beatmap feedback

Disclaimer: I'm new to osu mapping so I don't know anything

If I wanted feedback for a map I made but I'm not necessarily trying to rank it, do I still utilize the "Modding Queues" forum or do I ask a different way?

I'd say both. Either asking in Modding Queues or directly PM someone for feedback. I'd go for the 1st choice tho, as it's more consistent.

Yeah using mod queues is still fine if you aren't going for rank, as long as the specific queues rules allow that. There's also the #modreqs chat in game that you can /np your map to and what you're requesting, however there's much less of a chance of getting mods this way.
