I had downloaded Osu! Skins from the internet but non of them worked.It doesn't appear at the zip file or winrar.I'm using 7-Zip.It appears as a normal file (at the libraries).So,I can't extract them.I tried to rename the file from .rar to osk. but it doesn't seems to work.Can someone please help me? :(

[P.S] I know that i'm very childish and didn't know much how Osu! works.It was very hard to understand the forums because I'm young and not an english person

Which skins did you try?
Did you try a different program like Winrar? Are they still unable to be extracted?

If the skin you downloaded is in the .RAR or .ZIP format, extract it with a third party program (7Zip, winRAR, etc) into the Skins directory. If the file is a .OSK, simply open it to apply it. If there is NO file extension, try adding one (.ZIP is recommended, not .RAR in this case) and extracting it with another program.

No,I never tried Winrar but only 7-Zip because it's free.I wanted to download winrar but there's no a free one.It only has trials and torrents.I don't want to download it from Softonic either cuz it gives me unwanted pop-ups.I've seen so many forums tht you can download skins using 7-Zip.

The Skin I downloaded = http://www.mediafire.com/?i54eatnin9t5etz

It came out as a normal file and not in 7-Zip.And yes,it is still unable to extract it.I tried to put .osk and it appears in the Skins folder on Osu!. But when I tried it,it doesn't seems to change anything when I opened the game. :?

Was your download interrupted as it was downloaded as a .zip file perfectly fine for me?

7-zip should work either way though.

By default, osu won't open filetype .zip for skin so you don't need to throw it to skin folder.
And even you used 7-zip, it still can extract.
I think there must be a problem with your downloader.

Well, this method is a lil' bit complicated;

1. Rename your folder form zip/rar (I just tried it with rar) to osk and double click it like a normal osk file. It'll appear in Osu, but if you select it, It'll be the default Osu skin. That's because the folder with the skin got installed, but without the content.

2. Change the original folder (The one you made into an osk) back to zip/rar, copy the whole content inside and paste it into the empty folder.

3. Open the skin in Osu. It should work now!
