I would really like to see a toggleable function between the old and new notelock, since yes, it is certaintly easier to follow patterns, and is more rewarding for new players, but in my mind it really creates bad habits.
The osu lazer! current notelock is a very convenient option for new players and those who have requested it for years and it´s finally here! But for the more experience people, it doesn´t punish you enough for doing things like streams and such.
Even tough it was a necessary addition to the game, When I log in the game in the near future, and get the osu lazer! update I want to have the option to have the old notelock system, not because it is better, but because I am used to the old system, and well yeah those are my thoughts.
