I keep getting this message whenever I hit the 20% What do I do?

try download manually and see if you can download it

Im getting an error while updating too.
It reaches 11%, drops to 0% and reaches 6% again, followed by this:

running Osu! usually and let it update dont work.
running the Osu!-Updater directly dont work.
and downloading the .zip-file manually dont work.
Option 1 and 2: showing me the error report linked above.
Option 3: i just download it and if i try to unzip the downladed file, WinRar tells me its a damaged file.

I don't understand this. The file is 100% not damaged and downloads fine here.
can confirm that the file is indeed intact and working.
When downloading osu!gameplay.dll.zip manually, make sure the file is 7.28 MB. If it's any less, your internet dropped the download early and created a corrupt file.

the downloaded file is always same size (469 kb instead of 7,28 mb).

Try clearing your browser cache?
Have the same problem ;A; can't download the link you guys gave.. once it hits 1 min. it fails! what do I do?

(or just type %temp% in run.. if you are using win XP, and by that he means remove every file in there, not the Temp folder)Enzo wrote:
If the updater stops at a certain point in downloading or writing (aswell known as substituting game's files), i recommend to all of you to delete your "C:\Users\USERNAMEGOESHERE\AppData\Local\Temp" without any browsers and osu! running. Before re-executing the updater, delete any corrupted downloaded files from your osu! folder. It works most of the time for me.
