Rules

1) You can only vote if your account was created before 1st of November, 2020.

2) You are NOT allowed to vote for yourself.

3) You are only allowed to vote for players with a Malaysian flag. ***unless they are widely known as Malaysian but has changed their flag for convenience.

4) Anyone with any country flag can vote.

5) You are encouraged to vote for 10 players but you must have at least 7 players in your list. Please refer to the box if you want to vote for less than 10 players

6) It's optional but you are encouraged to write 1 or 2 lines to justify your vote for a player. (what are they good at, why did you vote for them?) It’s perfectly OK to just list 10 names.

7) Please vote based on the player’s performance in 2020 only. (eg. if a player was #1 in Malaysia in 2008 but has already quit the game in 2011, do not vote for him.).

8) You can only vote for players with more than 4000pp in Taiko. However, if the player of your choice manages to reach the cut-off before the closing date, your vote is considered valid.

9) A player should have at least 2000 play count to be eligible to vote. This is to ensure that you have sufficient knowledge of the game to justify your choices for your top 10.

10) If a player is restricted at the point of vote counting (14th February 2021) , they will not be considered into the vote.

11) Troll votes will be voided. Please vote purely based on the player’s performance.

12) Note that you can change your vote anytime you want before the closing date. I will calculate the result after the deadline. Changing your votes after the deadline will result in your vote being voided.

13) Vote nullification:
a) If your list has one invalid vote, that rank will be left blank in the final voting.
b) If your list has >=2 invalid votes, your entire vote will be considered as voided and not counted into the final voting.

13) All the rules are subject to change and I have the rights to finalize the score if really needed. You will be notified via the osu!Malaysia discord for any rule changes.

Results/Calculation method

Lowest ranked player (#10) gets 1 point, 2nd lowest (#9) gets 2 points etc. until top player (#1) gets 10. One set of the highest point for every player is removed. i.e. If Player A gets 1-5-2-5-3-1-9-10-10-7-6, one of the 10 point votes are removed, leaving 1-5-2-5-3-1-9-10-7-6. This is to enhance accuracy of the results and to discourage "boosting" votes. Points each player gets are tallied and players are ranked accordingly.

If a player votes for less then 10 people, the last place will get 1 point and raise accordingly, so eg. if a player votes for 8 players the #1 will get 8 points

Voting Stage will conclude on 14th February 2021 11:59pm UTC+8

规则

计票方式

#10得1分，#9得2分 etc 直到 #1得10分。每位玩家的一个最高和最低分将会被不计入最终得分。例：玩家 A 得到的票为 1-5-2-5-3-1-9-10-10-7-6, 那其中一个1分以及10分将被移除，总得分为1-5-2-5-3-1-9-10-7-6=49. 这是为了增加投票的准确性，避免灌水。得分加总后的最高得分者将是#1。

如果一位玩家投给少于10位玩家，那在最终计分中从最后一名得1分，最后第二名得2分，以此类推。eg。如果一位玩家投了8票，那第一名将会得8分

投票截止日期：2021年2月14日 晚上11点59分（马来西亚时间）

Peraturan:

1) Anda hanya dibenarkan mengundi jika akaun anda dibuat selepas 1 November 2020.

8) Anda hanya boleh mengundi pemain-pemain osu! standard yang mempunyai sekurang-kurangnya 4000pp dalam Taiko. Jika tidak, undian anda dianggap tidak sah. Namun demikian, sekiranya pemain yang anda undi berjaya mencapai 4000pp sebelum tarikh tutup, undian anda masih dianggap sah.

9) Anda haruslah mempunyai jumlah permainan sekurang-kurangnya 2000 kali supaya layak untuk mengundi. Hal ini adalah untuk memastikan pengundi memiliki pengetahuan yang sepenuhnya untuk memberikan alasan untuk pemain yang anda undi.

10) Undian gurauan akan dibatalkan sepenuhnya.

11) Anda dibenarkan mengubah undian anda pada bila-bila masa sebelum tarikh tutup. Saya akan mengira keputusan selepas tarikh tutup. Sebarang perubahan yang dilakukan selepas tarikh tutup akan mengakibatkan undian dibatalkan.

12) Semua peraturan boleh diubahsuai pada bila-bila masa dan saya mempunyai hak untuk memuktamadkan keputusan jika diperlukan. Segala pengubahsuaian peraturan akan diberitahu melalui osu! Malaysia Discord.

2) http://osustats.ppy.sh/ Di sini anda dapat mencari skor top100 yang diperoleh siapa-siapa pemain dengan menekan 'Advanced Options' kemudian 'filter by game type': taiko (Tidak kira mana-mana mod, banyak skor tidak memberi PP yang menunjuk kesukaran sebenar sesuatu lagu, oleh itu banyak skor tidak akan muncul di 'Top Ranks' di profil pemain, anda boleh mencari semua itu di sini!)

Kaedah pengiraan mata/skor:

Pemain terbawah mendapat 1 mata, pemain yang di atasnya mendapat 2 mata dan sebagainya sehingga pemain teratas mendapat mata yang sama dengan jumlah pemain yang dinamakan. Satu set mata tertinggi akan dikeluarkan. Mata diperoleh setiap pemain dijumlahkan. Mata yang tertinggi adalah pemenang.

Undian akan ditutup 14 Febuari 2021 pada masa 11:59pm (UTC+8).

<3:Jerry> ass taiko. yes. jokes aside, extremely respectable player, especially in speed (350 bpm burst bro, possibly the fastest player in malaysia) and possibly hr. still needs improvement in some aspect, especially tech but overall an insanely speedy player that deserves all the respect
<4:HHVanilla Ice> one of the newest player in the scene, but also improved extremely fast ever since joining. another amazing tech player with impeccable acc, very looking forward on how far he can push his skillsets since hes still relatively new in the scene

<8:Bedwyr Aorta> probably the lowest ranked player in here but his hr skill is pretty on par with some 3 digit to the point that he literally cannot play any map without hr, another insanely underrated player that would be insane if put into tournament settings

<10:imnoobatosuosu> only know them from twc 2020 in which they played their first tournament but his performance is really solid in a tournament setting, might be an underdog in future tournaments, we shall see

taiko_maniac1811 : please come back, the true og of top level player in malaysia with amazing accuracy plays that still isnt topped by the top players in msia today (ra'am hd SS is still unbeaten like 5 years later), just goes to show how much he's ahead of everyone despite being inactive for the whole 2020

<3:Xeltic Rival> Tournament monster. From TWC2020 carry, playing everything in LMS V to being one of the best B seed in TSCW 2020, this is probably the best year for him in terms of tournament and he's not even active lmao
<4:Jerry> Imagine being this good at playing, ranking maps and making amazing storyboards lol one of the best speed players and capable of reading HR & HDHR at extremely high scroll speeds
<5:HHVanilla Ice> Newcomer who managed to show extremely solid performance in tournaments such as TWC and EGTS. Top 3 2021 ?
<6:Bedwyr Aorta> Criminally underrated player. Shows up in tournaments to bully people and managed to get #1 in IGTS 2020. Very balanced player for their rank.
<7:K0rd31HP> This guy is a speed god being comfortable with maps around the BPM260-280 range. Definitely a player to look out for in 2021.
<8:NOOB1200> Best ddkk player in the country imo. Just picked up Taiko half a year ago and managed to fc near 7* maps already
<9:imnoobatosuosu> As a TV Size player I have lots of respect for players who have the stamina and nerve control to fc long maps and he's really good at it
<10:[Erika]> Kinda old school but really really good at 1/4+1/6 tech pattern compared to players similar in rank.

Changed calculation of the final votes.

The lowest score a player gets is no longer being removed from the final count.

Also added clarification on scoring method in the original post.

His DT skill is really outstanding, I have no idea how he can hit those high-bpm-notes with super high accuracy (like Renatus+DT). He is also good at playing really long high-bpm-streams and stamina based songs. Really insane.
<2:Jerry> Besides having abnormal speed skill (like chronostasis and other maps with more than 300 BPM), he is a super, duper innovative and creative osu taiko mapper. <1:6gicha>: Every single score that this guy sets makes me go "what", one of the most well rounded players in the country with a variety of skillsets under their belt. I'll never forget the time he singlehandedly brought the opposing team to tiebreaker TWICE during the LMS V match. I'm really excited to see how they perform in TWC2021.
<2:Xeltic Rival>: The true wildcard god player of Malaysia. Facing this dude in a tournament is probably one of the scariest things to see as it's almost impossible to expect what he can do. With HD being his main forte, he can also play HR, DT, Tech, Speed, and even HDHR at a very high level.
<3:[Zeth]> when the speed of a map goes up, you'd usually expect to see some player's accuracy to dip quite a bit as they can't really catch up. Well, not for Zeth. This monster, often known as one of the most stable players in the country can easily churn out 280~300BPM plays with single digit 100s which is absolutely insane. He's also recently gotten very good in HD as well as techy maps which only makes him an even more formidable player especially in a tournament setting.
<4:cdhsausageboy>: I like to refer to cdh as the low-accuracy version of Xeltic. However this only applies to the first half of any tournament setting. If you somehow manage to see this guy in the late-game of any tournament with 7~8* maps, all I can say is good luck. With HD and (really REALLY HARD) Tech maps being his main skillset, he can also play HR and Speed maps that go up to 300BPM. If it weren't for his rather unfortunate accuracy weakness, he'd easily be in the Top 100 global.
<5:HHVanilla Ice>: One of the tech carries of Malaysia that's also very experienced in the tournament setting. Although there is much to improve on especially when it comes to speedier maps, I can see a lot of potential for improvements in the future.
<6:Bedwyr Aorta>: HR main that has a lot of tournament experience under their belt. Very excited to see them improve in HR and potentially be one of the main HR carries of Malaysia in the future.
<7:K0rd31HP>: I often see this player's scores on really speedy maps which is quite amazing and I hope to see them improve even further.
