feel free to send any substantiated concerns and complaints about any members of the team to me, and i'll see what i can do. by substantiated i mean your complaint should be compiled with a considerable amount of evidence. if it isn't, don't bother.
Instead of us doing the evidence compilation work, shouldn't it be you (administrators) the one compiling all of our complaints and have them all nice and organized?Ephemeral wrote:

I'm sorry, but your comment sounds a bit like if were have a problem with a staff, then it's our duty to find if anyone else have the same complaints, and it's our work to have them given to you all nice and tidied up and have them presented to you, when in my opinion, it should be you the one keeping tabs of all the complaints that we have.

Baseless complaints are baseless. If you can't back your argument up with evidence or at least a clearly thought out report, then your complaint is not worth an admin's time.

No, I understand that each of our complaint should be based with evidence, what I'm saying is that Ephemeral seems to want us to do all the research and stalking to the particular person we have a complaint and pretty much summarize them up in a report, when it should be the moderators the one collecting all the complaints (with their respective evidence of course).

Evidence has been acquired. Loctav did not in fact pass any MAT/BAT approval process. He's having a 2 week "test" period after which it will be decided if he can stay in the BAT or be moved back to GMT. I personally still think it's unfair towards people who try to get in the team and mod hard while others can get in just like that. He's not even remotely good at modding..

I see no problem with letting somebody in if they have the potential to be helpful, especially if they've already been helpful in some other form. If Loctav turns out to be adequate, then at least he'll be another pair of hands to take some of the workload. Furthermore, if he ends up managing a regular schedule, then he'd already be ahead of the game.
While I appreciate your sympathy towards hard workers, the only thing that rejectees need to do is keep improving themselves and be as philanthropic as they can. I'm assuming that Loctav got into the BAT because he demonstrated reliability. Even those without much experience (at least, in terms of kd count--not every modder makes many forum posts) may happen to know how to deal with problems and how to help people to improve. Not to mention, members of the BAT are endowed with chanop and forum powers, so they would need to be responsible with those.
