Hi, I've been thinking about whether it'd be possible to use a mobile device to replace the tapping of z and x or LMB and RMB. I've used hipporemote and some other apps from app store, but their buttons are a bit small. They work pretty well when I do hit the buttons and I have been thinking that this may be an intersting alternative to say a mechanical keyboard, or those specialized tap keyboards.

Thanks for your time,

P.S. I never intended this to be a full-fledged medium to replace a keyboard, it's just that
I think it would be a more economic means of having good bpm speed without having to exert as much pressure. I don't play games on insane so I woukdn't know if it would lag, but with the specs of current day mobile devices that can support functions such as facetime, I'm sure that simply sending button inputs shouldn't be a problem. Feel free to rebute if I'm mistaken, but I honestly believe that this will be a great alternative to more expensive input devices without needing to empty the wallets again.

How would this work for streaming. I think it would lag.

I tried something smilar for my android tablet
well, it is a bit hard to actually hit the buttons and the ghosting is pretty annoying
plus, the delay ruins everything even if you hit it on time
it could be nice if you can adjust yourself with the delay and if you find a software without ghosting and with larger buttons lol

This.
I tried to use some Logitech soft on my iPad, it worked perfectly but mouse buttons are very small.

Would be nice if osu can disable only the cursor movement for a Synapses touch pad alike, while leaving the touch function intact for clicks.

They might have driver-level support for this, like (at least for Synaptics pads) have driver-level support to absolute positioning, but that has to be forced by external software.
