Editor: Make v always jump to last note placed

In the editor, if you currently before the last note, v will allow you to jump to the last note placed, but if you are beyond the last note placed, pressing v will jump you to the end of the song.

I want to change it such that v always has you jump to the last note placed. (I rather have a different hotkey jump to the end of the song)

This is a pretty simple, straightforward and useful request.


Maybe even change the text to "Jump To Last note"

I just press Z V quickly, it goes to to the last note no matter where your are in the song.

While you can press z+v, is there a use for a hotkey that will jump you to the end of a song when no notes are placed there?

Not really.

My post was more like a tip anyway; since this is one of many minor improvements suggested here, I guess it's unlikely that it gets implemented soon, so I thought giving an alternative way of doing it in the meantime could be useful to someone...

go on peppy, prove me wrong and implement it!

I don't see why there should even be a hotkey to go to the last point in the mp3 - the only thing there will at most be a spinner :/

bump. pressing V does not bring you to the last note when you scrolled past it. Instead, you jump to the end of mp3 file minus 500ms and stay there; further presses don't do anything. This differs from the action that Z key does.

sometimes it's useful to jump to mp3 end, such as when doing timing, or listening to music to confirm rhythm. 0.0

Totally, agree, it can gets annoying sometime. I'd suggest simply to make two hotkeyys "Jump to last note" and "Jump to End"

From what I can tell, z is working fine. Unless you are directly on the first note, pressing z will bring you to the first note. Pressing z while on the first note will bring you to the beginning of the mp3.

Thinking about it that way, that is probably how v should work. 1 press brings you to the last note, 2 presses will bring you to the end of the mp3.
