doesn't matter which game mode you're in

go to the editor

Only happens to the difficulty you selected in the song list before.

this is also the case for online/local offset

Explain the issue you are having:
With the new Difficulty Settings you see in the Edit menu, other variables such as the Universal Offset (for the map, if it was edited after rank, and the rating) overlay it.

(BIG THANKS TO ALEKS)

Is it reproducible? If so, explain the steps to do so:

1. Go into Play, choose a map but don't play it
2. Go right back to edit song select
3. The overlay takes place


For example...
I used my BoA map here.

Pretty cool thing up there. However if you have local offset setting on a map it gets covered:

oh, didn't really notice that. Instead, I guess lolcubes just confirmed that example for us.

Actually, this glitch already has been around for years.

When you browse the edit mode, if the map still has no ranked/approved status, it'll then download the status online and assigns the "This is latest ranked copy". Once you got that, simply navigate other map and return to the previously selected map, and you'll see the user rating.
