the world has gone up to 1080p and yet we still capped the quality at 480p

the title says much, HD Video Support
This means mappers can upload both HD and SD version.
(if mapper provide HD version, he must include SD version)
in-game prompt when adding a video (so osu! knows which one is HD/SD).
with a mod to enable/disable HD (if exist)

This is highly unlikely. peppy doesn't want all his server space occupied with high quality copyrighted video. Two videos in the same beatmap is just wasteful besides, HD videos take up too much space.

I'm pretty sure there's a denied duplicate somewhere as well.
Full Tablet
This would also require increasing the size limits for beatmaps, since a 1.5 minutes 1080p video is usually 30MB or more.

30mb....more like 100mb+ xD (at least for the quality I want)

osu! already supports 1080p. As you can see below: (130mb, CRF -20)

The problem is that if 100 ppl dl the hd video, that is already asking the server to have 10gb (100mb increase * 100ppl) more bandwidth to service those 100ppl. If you want an HD (FullHD, or UltraHD because marketing says HD is 720P), upload it to a separate site and link it here.

Marking as denied, but if you want to fight it out, fight against the size restriction in the ranking criteria 87 .

I think bliss has nailed the nature of the problem. I suspect that this is the reason why peppy is looking at p2p support ;)
