how do i get rid of the star thing on my map

I don't think u can remove that rather you can change that. Just delete that file in your skin I think it's called a cursortrail- not quite sure or you can replace it with other ones from a different skin.

Find a 1×1 pixel picture and replace "star2", not "cursortrail".
Keep in note: If you just delete the file, it will automatically replace with the default skin.
