I'm new and i'm weary of copyright problems and I don't want to go through making my own beatmap if I accidentally get in trouble for it. I have read the post about content guidelines but I couldn't find an answer to this specifically.It says you can get the ability to publish maps taken away if you don't follow the rules. Like, say I get permission from an artist or the music is open for commercial use, but then how does osu! know?
