literally. those rainbows go by too fast...
I actually don't even have anything with RGB haha!. just some red LEDs behind my monitors and a white led strip in my computer. I'm just saying why I think RBG makes sense and is a good thing.Akumace1 wrote:

I think anything aesthetics added to a product is a marketing scheme. having a car is great, but it's even better if it's your favorite color. so RGB lighting is, by default, a marketing scheme, which isn't a bad thing. they start becoming a bad thing, personally, when done in excess.CrispySquirrel wrote:
Calling RGB lighting a marketing scheme is like saying different flavored soft drinks or different colored cars is a marketing scheme. Or even something as simple as PAINT in general is a marketing scheme. Just makes no sense. There is always a demand for people to be able to pick what they want with everything. RGB is no different.
And before you go saying something like "well PC lights are just useless period" think about how many seemingly pointless aesthetic things you have in your life. Could be a poster on your wall or a figure sitting on your desk. I mean, unless you're just completely devoid of all taste or sense of aesthetic pleasure.
Just my opinion on why RGB haters are wrong c:

I suppose you're right. But I guess what I meant to say was marketing gimmick.Winnyace wrote:

Yeah, I agree.tykork wrote:
I'm not a big fan of the fast rainbow effects but I do like having the option to choose whatever color I want for my backlit keyboards. A single static color often looks better in my opinion.
exactly. although, manufactures should make their product great first, then add such things to it.CrispySquirrel wrote:
all about options. The more the better in my opinion. Even if that means somebody really loves rainbow unicorn disco vomit.
my bad there as well tbh. no hard feelings brotherAkumace1 wrote:

End of story. I'm not starting shit. I don't want to be on anyone's bad side but I will stick up for myself if I get called out for making a joke.
