So, I'm talking about this thing...

Somewhere in the options menu, you would find the "Map History Display.. thing". I'm bad at naming things, obviously. I'm sure there's a better one. This lets you choose what to display in the top left corner.
There are 3 different options you can choose from, including:

The Good Old Retries
Displays your retries on the map during the session of you playing the map. Original, cool, whatevs.

Total Plays
Displays your total plays on the map (all time). This will probably be the most popular option.

Total Plays Today (or should it be This Session?)
Displays the total plays today, not just for this map, for all maps.

Does it sound like a good idea? I think it's cool. Leave some feedback and let me know what you think.

Total plays today is something that you'll see in your #userlog. Here's a request about improving that one t/117468

but I think I agree with everything here, even though you can see your total plays for today in #userlog, I still think it's important to have it visible where you play. The #userlog can't be seen when playing offline.

I think the OP is referring to the Total Play etc of a particular map.

This could be neat when you come across a song you know in multiplayer. You see those little stats on top left corner and wonder why you have/haven't played it so much.
