do hitsounds have to be exactly the same across all difficulties of a mapset?

yeah cause on my higher diffs i would put a clap on every other white tick in one section, but on my normal diff sometimes there would just be nothing to put a clap on

Dont rly need to be same ,can different if the rhythm on other diff is different too i think ,i always do that in order the rhythm on other diffs can be played optimal :3

The biggest problem I see here is rhythm filler or simplification (like example, my topdiff blue tick is clickable and has hitfinish, but on hard diff, I make the next red tick clickable and put hitfinish there... because of song structure, both are valid). As long as it sounds good when judged individually, I think it's fine. Need a sense for that "fine" rhythm though. So if you don't trust that of yours, maybe ask your mods
