If you're asking for the source of a specific picture, try SauceNAO or iqdb or Google Reverse Image Search.
TinEye is another reverse image searcher, but I don't believe it's that great. iqdb is the way to go.
To add to the list of websites above, don't forget http://danbooru.donmai.us/. It's the site I use for most of my skins (searching it takes a little practice) but be aware that the content can be NSFW.

Gelbooru works even better (that is, if you have an adblocker).
