Hi - It hit me the other day that Norway's user count was approaching 4,000 and we reached that number earlier today. Of course, I figured that a lot of these users were probably dead accounts by now, so I thought we could have a way to distinguish the accounts that were still in use from the inactive ones.
I don't know whether it's easily possible to do or not, but this is what I was thinking: After a month of no activity in the account, the username would change from a blue standard link to a slightly more faded out, italic username that would be easy to differ from the current active ones while still being readable
(like #5C65A6). Display statistics next to current total user count saying how many users are active. This would carry over to beatmap highscore listings, and possibly even the osu!client itself.
So... would this be of any use? Is there any support for it?
