This is a standard osu! tournament with a small but noticeable twist... the winner is the Last Man Standing!
Players of all ranks will battle head to head for a chance of glory and winning the first place prize!

Registrations:
To register, please reply to the forum post (as to keep it near the top) and fill out the registration form linked at the top of this post (and join the discord ofc).
Registrations will close on December 6th at UTC 0
The rest of the schedule is as follows: (keep in mind there is no screening taking place here)
Registration: 11/21 - 12/6
Qualifiers: 12/11 - 12/13
Quarterfinals: 12/18 - 12/20
Semifinals: 12/25 - 12/27
Finals: 1/1 - 1/3 (ofc no one wants to play on new years day so exceptions here can be made)
Mappools will be released at the end of each period

General Info:
Only the top 64 players after qualifiers will be participating. The scoring used will be Score v2. Anyone from around the world is eligible to enter. Many will join, only one will leave (well, 3 if you consider a prize winner "leaving"). The matches will be livestreamed!

Qualifiers:
This will happen like all normal tournaments where all players who enter will play a qualifier pool. The qualifier pool contains 4 NM, 2 HD, 2 HR, and 2 DT picks making 10 maps in total. Players will be qualified based on their ranking on each map. The top 64 players with the lowest combined score (it's like golf) will move on the the Semifinals.

Quaterfinals:
The 64 players that successfully qualified will be split into 4 lobbies. During this round 8 maps will be played leaving only 8 players to move on to the next round. The pool consists of 4 NM, 1 HD, 1 HR, and 2 DT picks but with a slightly raised average SR. However unlike qualifiers, the order in which the maps are played will be randomized.

Semifinals:
Same as the Quarterfinals except there's only two lobbies :^)

Finals:
The 8 remaining players of the two Semifinal lobbies will finally duke it out in full lobby of 16. Much like the semis, the pool order will be randomized except instead of 8 maps, there are now 15. These consist of 7 NM, 2 HD, 2 HR, 3 DT, and 1 TB. The order will be randomized for the first 14 maps and the final 2 players will play the TB.

TL;DR:
Top 64 players after quals are split into 4 lobbies of 16 each. The top 8 players of each lobby moves on to the next round. The final 16 play in the final round to decide the winner!

Qualifiers:
All players will play ALL qualifier maps a week after registrations close. Players must sign up for which lobby they'd like to participate in (there will be 24 lobbies at 2 hour intervals with 2 emergency lobbies for players who can't make any of the default times). Each lobby will start right on time so please be there on time. If a player DCs mid map, they'll be allowed to replay the map at the end of the lobby. As stated above, there will be 4 NM, 2 HD, 2 HR, and 2 DT picks. After all qualifier lobbies have finished, the placement of each player will be adding up each players placement on each map. The player with the highest rank will be seeded 1st and so on and so forth. Only the top 64 players will end up moving on to the Quarterfinals.

Battle Royale Mechanic:
For those of you who don't know what a battle royale is, it's a system where the player with the lowest score after each map will be kick from the lobby and unable to participate moving forward. The battle royale mechanic will not be used during qualifiers! Semis and on though will indeed be using this mechanic. This also means that no one will be picking maps as the order in which they'll be played is randomized.

Match Times and Reschedules:
Since the lobbies are full of 16 players scattered around the world, timing matches will be very difficult. Staff will talk to the participants in a group to find the best desired time that will (hopefully) work for everyone. We request that players show up about 5 minutes early to the lobby so as to make things go as quickly as possible, though there will be a 10 minute grace period after the official start time for players to show up. After the 10 minutes are up, the match will officially begin. If there are missing players, the same amount of maps in the pool will be skipped (If players are un able to participate due to their time zone, the same will happen).

Special Cases:
If a player disconnects within the first 30 seconds of a map, the match will be aborted and all players will restart the map. The player who DCd will have 5 minutes to reconnect and join the lobby. If they fail to do so, it will count as a loss and the map will be skipped. Any further DCs from the same player will count as a loss and the map will be skipped.
