Be able to post topics about requesting songs.

There have been many requests for this and it has actually been done a few times (The main example is here p/1588).
In the end it just doesn't work, even with a cap it would get out of control too fast with no one actually doing any of the requests. If anyone really wants something mapped the wiki/FAQ are great places to start to learn how to use the editor.
