[Guide] How to use difficulty icons

This guide addresses how to add difficulty icons into osu! forum posts, beatmap descriptions, and the userpage me! section.

Recommended Method

This method is recommended as it uses the shortest links and is simple to understand.

Copy the following line into your post, description, etc.
[img]help/wiki/shared/diff/<difficulty>-<gamemode>.png[/img]
and replace <difficulty> and <gamemode> with an item from the following lists.

<difficulty>
easy
normal
hard
insane
expert
expertplus
na

<gamemode>
c = catch
m = mania
o = osu! (standard)
t = taiko

Example: Easy
[img]help/wiki/shared/diff/easy-o.png[/img] Easy

ALL ICONS
catch
easy
normal
hard
insane
expert
expertplus

mania
easy
normal
hard
insane
expert
expertplus

osu! (standard)
easy

Other Methods

These methods achieve the same result as above but use longer links.
They can be used as backup if the recommended method doesn't display the correct image.

Absolute path
The same as the recommended method, but includes 'https://osu.ppy.sh/'.

Example: Easy
[img]https://osu.ppy.sh/help/wiki/shared/diff/easy-o.png[/img] Easy

GitHub
Uses content from the osu! wiki GitHub repository and follows the same naming convention as the above methods.

Example: Easy
[img]https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ppy/osu-wiki/master/wiki/shared/diff/easy-o.png[/img] Easy

Difficulty naming wiki page
Uses links to the icons on the Difficulty naming wiki page.
Right click your desired image on the page and copy the image link to paste it where needed.

Example: Easy
[img]https://i.ppy.sh/e4046437c0d195a3f2bed4b4140a41d696bdf7f0/68747470733a2f2f6f73752e7070792e73682f77696b692f696d616765732f7368617265642f646966662f656173792d6f2e706e673f3230323131323135[/img] Easy

Don't know if this changed recently but it seems like this source actually does have black icons.

I rewrote the guide and included a new method for anyone who may have been following the old version (included under Other Methods).

Made some standard icons based on the ones on beatmap pages, using new colors from https://github.com/ppy/osu-web/blob/master/resources/assets/less/variables.less

Copy & Paste code:

Might make some with white background since black doesn't show up well.

jfyi, the icons on wiki are now updated as well. 16/32/64/128px in case anyone needs them: https://tc.s-ul.eu/hOhczt8n.zip (please respect the licence @ https://github.com/ppy/osu-web/)

Thanks for updating the wiki, I've updated my post accordingly. Seems like we may need to wait for wiki links to update as I'm still seeing the old icon on the post, although I do see the new icon when navigating to the link.

In the meantime, using the GitHub content does the job.
