I am a warehouse worker using OSU as a music player.

My manager allows it, but usually I just go into the main menu and press the V key to change songs while I do stickering lol.

In fact, I have probably been "playing" OSU for over 100 hours just by "AFKing" in main menu.
The only con I see is I felt like the next-song feature doesn't seem to rotate to all the song.

if u create a collection of songs then press j u can cycle through all the songs in that collection using the menu on the top left

Well, I got a diploma in IT (uneremployment errrrr), could have used cracked Shopify or used my mobile phone, but I don't feel like paying for another speaker, but generally yes lol.

I play primary 2 star maps, but 3 star ones are difficult/felt impossible for me.

im pretty sure you can load osu full of mp3s + empty beatmap files if you want to use it as a music player

osu! still has a lot of songs that are not kawai/childish anime songs. (Considering that it's been probably mapped ranked, unranked or graveyarded). It's basically spotify with no ads when you have all the maps and such.
