I was thinking about an option you can toggle in the xK.ini's which center the o!m notes (also the long notes), so you can hit the notes in the middle and not at the bottom. This would be a nice option for symmetrical or thin notes.

SPOILER
Skins are Standard/EZ2osu/VisionBleu (centered behavior with modified mania-note1H)

Umm why? Get rid of the White line and use a stage hint to move it up to a center. I had no problem doing this, Just a change in perception (default skin does this with the exception that the line is enabled).

And what's with thin notes? They are flipped at the end of long-notes, so the long-note is longer than it should be. (Also the mania-note L is stretched from the beginning to the end of the long-note PLUS the height of the standard mania-note)
And deleting the white line isn't a good solution for the problem.

Because the maker of that skin moved the H-note trying to avoid the fact that the L-bar also occupies the H-note space so they pushed it down plus theres a bunch of empty space to screw up judgment which is always done at ends of the graphic space. Technically that skins H-note center isn't even the true center in relation to it's graphic size so even if the judgment was moved to center the hold start and end centers wont accommodate that skins hold notes.

I believe what you want is for the L-bars to start and end at H-note centers and or edges because of L-bars occupying H-note graphic space, People are trying to offset H-notes to get them at utmost end of an L-bar without realizing it breaks display of judgment. The skin your talking about is impossible to correct and have it aesthetically look right without this function regardless of where judgment is held and as it is now all note elements have to share a common size & placement otherwise the skin is broken.

Only thing changing the judgment to center would accomplish is to have barlines centered to the notes for aesthetics... beyond that its just perception since judgment is held at a fixed space which can be projected higher than it should be with a stage hint.
