I have been unactive on osu for a good 2 months due to my old PC dying and not handling it well. Since I got my new one i suddenly went from being around 28k to 14k? I'd like to know if anybody else has experienced this and what the cause is.

pretty sure this happened to everyone when the SR update happened for taiko. mine is super extreme, as I haven't really played taiko, but you get the idea. SR update changed pp somehow, and people's ranks changed, idk much else about it.
SR was updated so PP was recalculated and inactive players were removed from leaderboard, so you can expect your rank increase.
