Just wanted to give all those who are new to map making around here a quick and useful tip.

Before you think about creating a map I think it's best to observe other beatmaps and how they are created before making your own. To put in in a simpler form, find some inspiration from other users. It's no good opening up the editor, placing in some random beats because you don't know what you are doing. I have seen many maps which I can probably tell, have just been created in around 30-60 minutes. On most of them the timing is bad, almost none of the notes correspond to any type of rhythm to a song.

When I started out playing the game, I played it for about 3 to 4 months before I made my first map. Whilst looking at other beatmaps, I took into account what was required to make a good one. I looked at other ranked maps which didn't really interest me but I still to into account all the features of a good beatmap. Looking back I still know that my first map wasn't my best, but to me it felt like it was a good one.

Thank you for reading this is you had the time, I appreciate it. :)
