You know. For whoever can remember, the user by the name of DeathxShinigami has been packing and uploading the beatmap packs for a very long time. Even going as far as to re-pack and upload older packs to ensure he can maintain the integrity of the mappack database. He's done this for so long, yet received little recognition for it.
Earlier today he sent me this (http://puu.sh/1GDYH) and was beaming for joy. He felt awesome that someone recognised his hard work and thanked him for it. On a personal level, DxS has been having a rough time, and so I thought it's about time he is recognised for the work he's put into the mappacks.
Sure, the past packers were there, but they did it on a level of "Just because someone needed to do it" sort of thing. They were BATs with spare time, sorta thing. They did work hard as well, but not on the level of DxS. He's paid for Mediafire pro (I've chipped in too
) just so users can get the mappacks faster. He's consulted with many other people about packs in certain cases, and he's even gone the extra mile of deciding about theme packs (I'm helping with that when we both have a lot more spare time *When I have the spare time, lol*), seeing the success of the Nightcore packs I did last year.
DxS is someone who does this because he wants to, and not because he has to. In the image above, you can see he was chatting about the Christmas chart pack, contacting Saphire to run it by him. He's enthusiastic about the job, but is never really noticed apart from "Oh he uploaded a new one, cool".
So, it's about time we look at DxS, and say Thank You for his hard work. He's made mappack availability an excellent and easy process for New, old and all members in between, and his enthusiasm to help is nothing short of awesome.

On a completely related note, I also suggest DxS for Global Mod since he's awesome like that. I wanna see his name in GREEN! >:D
