As some time has passed and considering how small the Portuguese CTB community is I thought it would be fun to share each other's personal lists of our top 10 Players of all time. Make sure to post your own below!

Considering that JungYeon is a non-pt multi-acc please refrain from putting him in your list.

My Reasoning
Here is a summary for why I placed my picks the way I did:

1. Buffow is easily the best hidden player Portugal has ever had. He has performed at the forefront of the Portuguese ranking and tournaments since 2015 with Air and Tris. He has had the PT #1 ranking for longer than anyone else. Excellent convert player. I don't really think I have to explain this placement

2. uwu for a long time has always been a deceptive #2 of PT. Often uninterested in high star maps and playing the game however he can find enjoyable has an amazing consistency in the game through lots of practice with low and high star maps. The most consistent player PT has ever seen and also an excellent convert player. Don't let his ranking fool you.

3. Now you might wonder why I placed #7 PT in the 3rd spot above players who have performed better than Soul for years. The reason is because Soul is the only PT player to have reached the top 100, has had the 2nd longest #1 reign in PT. And has had the most dominant #1 ranking for his time. Even Buffow's reign or Edward Elric's reign (back in the day) look pale before his performance in early osu. Still till this day he has scores from almost a decade ago on maps that PT top players can't replicate easily.

4. Gold will probably dislike me for saying this but gold801 is the best farmer Portugal has ever seen. Although a relatively new player, there isn't a single soul in PT that has been able to climb the ladders as he was able to. Not only did gold make his life difficult by playing many maps with PF but he also got very close to becoming #1 of PT. He also holds the highest amount of PP in convert maps in Portugal till this day. (Edit: Not anymore, cus I took it lel)

5. Aaaah PTrollYO how we all love him. One of the players who during Edward Elric's reign challenged him even though there was a huge difference in performance points but actually backed up his words with constantly improving plays. There have been time he has passed both Tris and uwu in PP and overall a solid player.

6. Now most people might go "[224] Bell? Why not yoxide?". Bell or also know as Funy, has been playing for a long time on and off. Similar to PTrollYO but before his time challenged Edward Elric and made impressive progress. He has often been part of the top 5 in PT for many years, although very spread out, but I think that deserves the spot that he's in.

7. DemiGod Yoxide, currently in the top 5 of Portugal due to PTrollYO's inactivity and also relatively new player. For new players the bar has been set a lot higher than what it used to be but that didn't stop Yoxide from trying. And that he did. Yoxide has been steadily climbing over the last years, although on and off. Currently switching into hidden due to his injury but hopefully once that is recovered we'll see much more from him.

8. N1tro321, probably the only convert-only PT player that is relevant. Nitro has stuck to converts-only but has still managed to climb the PT by consistently getting high 200pp convert scores that even for some of the top players is hard to achieve. Although his ranking hasn't been the highest in PT his convert plays are noteworthy for him to be #8

9. Tuga is one of the oldest the player on this list just behind SoulEater. He mainly played actively in 2012/2013 and a little bit in 2016. He then was able to come back in 2018 and somehow perform amazingly well and climb the national rankings quickly and proved that he still had in him and looked to be joining the top 5 at the speed he was going. Unfortunately his momentum slowed down and after 2018 has become inactive.

10. Nicolexd13 has had a similar climb as Tuga although a newer player from 2017. He quietly played during 2017 and 2018 but boomed during the beginning of 2019. He still remains in the top 10 of PT due to this climb.

Honorable Mentions
Currently Hiroto and RockMitic look promising in their current progress. Especially Hiroto's progress has been the biggest in PT so far. And I'm hoping to see both of these players to join this list somewhere in the future.

1- Buffow is definitely the best all around player of all time in Portugal. He's the only player that tried to push himself further in literally everything and succeeded pretty nicely imo. HD is excellent, his consistency is good as well, his HR skills are very nice as well, and his DT while unnoticed, is also not bad at all.

2- uwu will have to be my 2nd choice. I just can't stop respecting the way he does so many scores consistently it's insane. He's the most mysterious player for me, cause I just don't know how far he can go. It's crazy how one would at first think he can just SS low 4 star converted maps and then you see him FC a loved specific map that no one managed to or FC a super messed up convert like it was nothing. Overall very consistent in no mod, and deserves any respect just for how well rounded he is.

3- Tris is for sure #1 Portugal material right now even if he isn't technically Portuguese lmfao. He has proven to be the most dedicated player to improve his skill through brute force in our country, something players like myself, uwu and others easily got tired of doing. As of 2020 I don't expect anyone to take his #1 just for the fact that most players can't even pass image material and this madlad almost FC'd it. He also has made an effort to improve in other areas he's not as good as some other players like converts, and I expect him to be some competition for our top PT converted players.

4- Gold801 reached very far by only playing PF on every ranked map he touches. He made an exception for augoeides and genryuu kaiko, but other than that he proved to be one of the best consistent players in lower levels, similar to uwu. While it's hard to know how well he can do in higher star ratings, we do know that he is capable of some nice scores if he really wants to.
5- PTrollYO is one of the players who I looked up to when I started playing, which is funny to think about for people like tris who mentored players like this one. PTrollYO, while a huge living meme in our community, he's not a player to be underestimated. Was he not a lazy ass who only plays Final Fantasy XIV the whole day, I assure you he could have possibly been our #1 Portugal at some point. He improves quite fast too, something most players probably don't even remember. I feel he's underrated and quite forgotten by some which makes me sad, as I think he deserves a lot of appreciation for what he's done.

6- SoulEater is one of our oldest players, and deserves a lot of respect for where he is now. He has still some unbeatable scores to this day, in some older maps which no one else dares to touch. He stopped CTB for standard, but when he does play ctb, he proves himself to be top 6 worthy. Had he never stopped playing, he probably would be the best player today, just due to how many different map styles he would have been able to play from.

7- N1tro321 is a great converted player who has reached very far, since his unban, by playing only converts. He also is probably the 2nd best player of all time in older maps, I look forward to see if he can top any of Soul's scores. He deserves respect for his playstyle, not many spend their time playing simply the stuff they like, like he does. PP was never his first priority, and as such it's rare to see a specific score from him, but if he does play one, he doesn't fall far behind of what he should on his level.

8- I don't know much about Tuga, but I do know that he was an older player, similar to SoulEater and was a competition for players like myself in 2018. I at first thought he was just another new coming player who farmed endlessly, but he proved to be more than that. I feel like he deserves respect for how fast he climbed while being so many years inactive from the game before.

9- Nicolexd13 is pratically a neighbour of mine and as such I followed his progress as a player. He did pretty well, for someone who played on a freaking old ass laptop and never he made an excuse about it. He made his best to improve himself while he was still active and was my favorite choice for a new #1 when I quit the game indefinitely in 2019. Sad to see he lost interest, but he still remains as a very nice player with some outstanding scores in specific maps.

10- Now for 10 I have to talk about [224] Bell (AKA F u n y). I really don't know much about him either, we played in completely different times until very recently. He has proven to be a fast improving player in more than one occasion, and has the potential to be one of our top players someday. Lots of respect for his grind, I expect to see even more results from him in the future.

I was only active in the community for around 2 months back in 2018 but i'll do my best from memory.

I'm not going to give any reasoning because it really doesnt go beyond "oh i remember this guy was pretty good"

More in-depth

1- To me this is a no brainer, Buffow is the most versatile and consistent player currently. He can do it all, HR, DT, specifics, converts, not to mention him being by far the best HD player Portugal has ever had on its leaderboard.
Honestly not much that needs to be said here.

2- Even though he still believes that specifics>converts, Tris is my choice for the 2nd place simply because of how far he has gotten when it comes to specifics and how he sticks to his way of playing the game, valuing improvement over anything else, something you can notice on the insane scores he can set on some of the hardest specific maps, though he is no slouch on converts or mods either.

3- Now for someone I can definitly relate to since we basically share the same playstyle, gold801 is one of the best convert players aswell as being a consistency god on both converts and specifics, with respectable mod play, especially when it comes to HD which he has shown to be rather capable on, being 2nd only to Buffow.
All in all a solid all around player that can pretty much set any score he sets his mind on.
Also bonus points for SS only playstyle xd

4- The Petróleo man himself is my choice for 4th place, for similar reasons to the ones I stated above for Tris, as I see them as rather similar players. Both valuing improvement aswell as taking enjoyment on improving their scores overtime, though I find his convert play to be rather lackluster, his ability to play specifics and being rather consistent at them makes up for that.

5- Papa Soul has to be my choice for 5th place, an old-school legend that is still active to this day. He may be slightly lagging behind current top players but his experience and consistency more than make up to that, aswell has having respectable play when it comes to mods.
All in all a legend when it comes to portuguese CTB community that deserves all the respect he gets.

6- For the 6th spot Ive went for Demi, a slightly newer player compared to the ones Ive mentioned previously but still a rather impressive player, more so when it comes to converts on which he has show great improvement with time even adding HD to his plays as of lately, greatly increasing his versatility even though his play on other mods might be slightly lackluster, still a player that shows great promise and that Id love to see improve further.

7- N1tro is one of the best players when it comes to converts especially when it comes to older converts, where he shows impressive consistency. Also worth mentioning is his ability to play DT and HD making him one of the most note worthy mod players currently on the leaderboard.
Similar to Demi he is a player that shows to be capable of setting great scores in the future.

8- For 8th place Ive went with [224] Bell, a player that has been on rapid climb as of lately, showing his ability when it comes to playing specifics, one which he is rather impressive at when you take his rank into account, though I cant say much for his mod or convert play.

9- Nicolexd13 is my choice for the 9th spot, a player that has been inactive for awhile now but when he was active he was a fairly impressive player for his rank, on both specifics and converts. Hopefully he'll come back someday so that we can continue to see his progress.

10- And finally for the 10th place Tuga1768, a player I admittedly dont know much about but has set some rather impressive scores on specific maps aswell has showing a steady climb through the ranks even if he has slowed down over the past few months, still shows some potential to challenge the higher spots on the leaderboard.

List based on my half time playing ctb

This is just my point of view

1. Buffow - A very good player in Hidden and not only, he has many good plays and is also consistent,
converts and specifics don't matter to him, it is a pity that he had problems in his hand.

2. Airdown (uwu) - For me one of the most consistent no mod player I’ve ever seen on PT, no matter the map, if he wants to give SS, he gives.

3. gold801 - Able to give SS on the maps he wants and also very consistent, I admire his plays
for the simple fact that he can convert and specifics both with hidden and NM without much effort.

4. Tris (123tris) - Fc Image Material and i talk about you (joke) his dedication and effort are admirable, he has a huge ability for high star maps and converts, he is consistent, has absurd scores and is able to play with any mod.

5. PTrollYO - Petroleo a player who has a great ability to play specifics, I don’t know his ability to convert but it’s not too bad I guess.

6. SoulEater - An old player that I admire for having plays that someone will never snipe
one of the most experienced players in the CTB PT Community.

7 - DemiGod Yoxide - He has a great ability to convert and specifics, his dedication is incredible to the point of forcing himself to read Hidden and other mods, he has very good plays and is undoubtedly one of the best players I have ever seen in this community.

8 - N1tro321 (Beatmania IIDX) - He has a great ability for converts, hidden, and old converts, their top plays are very good, his skill in specifics declines but he manages to make up for it

9 - [224 Bell] - I admire his ability for high star maps, he can pass difficult maps, he is good at specifics making him climb very quickly

#1 Tris - He really has a passion of the game that only a top player can have and he has shown great dedication to the game mode as well to the community so for that he deserves the first spot.

#2 Buffow - His consistency with the HD mod and ability to get some really nice scores with HR too makes him a really well rounded player that more than deserved the top spot as the PT player until Tris took the spot.

#3 gold801 - At his peak he could pull off some insane scores in some top maps that aren't too farm, he deserves respect for his dedication to using perfect and being able to be so consistent to main that mod.

#4 uwu - Like gold, he is also a perfect mod player and a great no mod player that im sure has some insane consistency to pull off the plays that he has in the past, therefore is very worthy of much respect for that.

#5 PTrollYO - Very good no mod player that solidified his place in the top 5 PT for a long time.

#6 DemiGod Yoxide - Good player that while doesn't rank up too much any more still left behind very solid plays and is still on of the best in the country.

#7 Hiroto- - Very promising player that has been climbing the ranks very quickly and making nice plays, hope to see him higher up in the future.

#8 Tuga1768 - Even though he has been absent for a while, he has came back recently to playing and he still shows his skill clearly that he can still perform and be a great player at the top of the 4 digit ranking.

#9 [224] Bell - Player that is able to put out decent plays when he farms, being very close to 3 digits hopefully he makes the push towards that eventually.

#10 N1tro321 - Very underrated player that plays mostly converts with HD and for that alone he's an insane player, not many could get the plays that he has gotten.
