There are sleek, but simple minimal themes out there, or you can at least stick with a grey sort of background. And if you're so minimalistic, how come you have so many links in your start menu?

I put my games in the start menu so I have quick access to them. I don't want shit all over my desktop and usually leave files that need to be addressed on the desktop so they stand out. When I click all programs it has all my pc diagnostic tools, antivirus, windows update etc etc. Grey is a horrible colour so I don't think I'll take your advice on that. Even though it looks so simple and "boring" it takes a while to tweak windows to get it to work like this. Resources, ease of navigation and use is more important to me than looks. From an outsider looking in though I can sort of understand why you think it's crap, but meh.Kitsunemimi wrote:

and the laptop that i usually use for "work"
the wallpaper isn't lossy, i just compress all the desktop screenies because its a massive waste of space and bandwidth to save every single one of them as a 2mB+ png.
