Lower accuracy, but higher score

I just got first place on this taiko convert.
Not only was I much more inaccurate than the player in 2nd place now, I somehow managed to score higher than them? How does this happen?

Hitting big notes properly, missing slider ticks, or skipping spinners are the things that can affect your scores without affecting your accuracy (at least in score v1).

Also, acc early in a combo affects your score less in v1 (the combo multiplier is lower early in combo, so 100s don't lose as much score). But this should matter less than the other factors already listed.
