How do I split new combos in already set circles?

I was trying to do a map in the editor when I found out that I already had a 17 combo set. I wanted to split it up into pieces of 3-5 circles, so it's done well. However, I didn't find a way to set a circle as a combo end without having to redo all sliders with the proper divisions. I went to do a research about this, and I didn't find much thing, just an osu! forum created 11 years ago and a Stack Exchange question from 2014 regarding this matter, with little to no information other than "There is something to set them up", which I couldn't find out. Note, I do not want to redo the circles, I already have them set up and it'd be a pain. My question is, is there some way to set an already created circle as a new combo with a shortcut/button? Help will be gladly appreciated. Thanks!

Press on the circle/slider and just click "New Combo" on the right...?

Or just press Q after you've highlighted the circle/slider by clicking on them.
