Are long notes on mania harder?

Hi guys!
I always wanted to know...are the long notes in mania harder/different!??
Idk if what I am saying makes sense but idk why I can't get a 300 or 300+ on a long note.
I can hit the majority of the "normal" notes on 300 or 300+ but when it comes to long notes... I am just bad.

I just wanted to know are they (long notes) different???

(btw sorry by the bad english, I'm brazillian and don't know how to speak very well...)

In mania, long notes have 2 timing windows: one at the start of the note, and one at the end. In order to get a 300 or 300+ you must press the key accurately at the start of the note, and release it accurately at the end of the note.

Even if you hit the start of the note perfectly, if you released the key too soon, or too late, you will get a worse judgement on that note.
