Explain the issue you are having:

YT links are broken, whenever I try to link something, the link doesn't work.

Is it reproducible? If so, explain the steps to do so:

1. Copy the URL of any YT vid
2. Paste it in chat
3. herp broken link derp

Include any relevant video or screenshots, and hardware information for hard crashes or lag issues:

Can someone help?

Did you try adding "http://" before the link you provided?

No, sorry. It seems to work now. Thanks for the help! But it's kind of odd having to type 'http' everytime....

www. used to work though

Not in the slightest!

http stands for "Hypertext Transfer Protocol", and is basically a way of saying that the URL afterwards is a webpage, and to use the standard communication rules to talk to the website.
It's need because the browser needs to know what the link actually refers to. It could be a FTP (File transfer protocol) server URL!

www however is pretty much useless, as it doesn't actually serve an actual purpose. You don't need to type it for most sites!

Yeah err, we are not talking about a regular browser you know, but about how links are actually recognized in in-game chat.

It's still required. osu! doesn't know what "google.com" is, because that's just two words with a dot inbetween them. However, "http://google.com" is clearly a link to a webpage, because of the "http://".

The only way this would be a bug is if osu! did this before at some point. If anyone has a screenshot handy showing osu linking without the http: attached, then this might be an issue. I really don't know how it was the first time, so I cannot help.

It is possible that something went wrong with the clipboard because in many browsers you see links without the "http://", however when you click the link bar and copy the link, it should add the http thing by itself.

Anyways since I guess this has been solved, marking as resolved.
