honestly if your laptop keyboard is okay then there's no need to get another one, that said if you just want a new keyboard then the best one depends on a lot of stuff. what's your budget? what mechanical switch do you prefer? how much desk real estate are we talking about? do you want something portable or something stationary?

this is the keyboard i'm currently using. red switches are nice for rhythm games and supposedly they have a nice build quality.
