I used 2.22 in-game sens and 400 dpi when I was a mouse player.

If buyee doesn't work for you I'd suggest trying to buy a tablet from Ebay, it worked for me.

I currently use 1000 DPI, 0.78x sens, raw input on & mouse acceleration off. I'm a tablet main, though.
I found my in/360 sens in https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/, using my CS:GO sens, converted it to DPI using this site, then calculated my eDPI. I felt somewhat comfortable with this sens, therefore I decided to stick with it :v
Raniemi
I got pretty far with 1.0 sensitivity and 800 DPI before switching to tablet
Vally
Im using 1200 dpi mouse, 1.83 sens, enhance precision off and raw input on

what do you guys do to find the fine balance on adjusting your mouse sens and dpi?
Dunno, just use something what feel best for you. Personally I like high sens since you don't have to move to much.
Molly Sandera
I'd post my dpi but i don't even know, i just use a cheapass mouse and only now i finally understood how to use that dpi analyzer at https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com, but could not use it before i am parted with computers for a long time.... But i do use 1.85 sens in my main PC with a 1600x900 res monitor. Running osu at 1280x800 tho, and yet in laptop resoultions I had to use 1.7 to achieve a similar result However my effective sensitivity is most likely very high, higher than most players most likely
Jidsaw
I using 800dpi 0.5 sens 5/11 windows.

Use whatever sensitivity you like.

Higher sensitivity would mean you can hit fast jumps with better accuracy while lower sens would make it easier to hit circle thought beware of mouse drift and hand fatigue issues.

Normal players use around 800dpi 1.0x sens 6/11 (default) mouse speed on windows

2400dpi and 1.0x is too hight?
AccountWontWork
5 SENS IN WINDOWS SETTINGS, 1.8 INGAME, AND 800 DPI.
FrancoisBoss
I play with 3000 DPI and 1.0x sens on Osu is that too high?
wowcake
I would say it's higher than what most people use (800-1600dpi is what i see most people use), but, if you liked it, then don't worry about it aslong it works. (though i would recommend to set it lower personally).

Sold my tablet, and 0.8x now

I never really bothered with my sens and DPI. Probably why I aimed like shit lmao.
Louis Marble
3200dpi x1.4 in-game sens (Not recommended tho)
MusicRitman
I would say, you better find your own. If you feel like aiming too slow, you could go 0.2 higher
Simonema
Raw input on, 1600 dpi + 2.05 in-game sens (small desk, small mouse pad, not a lot of space to move.)
Jangsoodlor
4.69x w/ 1000dpi. I took a break from playing for a while and now can't even do jumps properly lol
mqwilliamscom
800 dpi with 1x sens and 0 acceleration.

I've noticed none mentioned the Resolution since it also affected ur sens at all. so theres 4 things u need to know before choosing ur right sens: Resolution scale, DPI, sens ingame setting n sens windowed setting.
im currently using 1280x800, 800 DPI, 7 sens windowed setting, raw input off ("High precision mouse" as Osu-Laser ver, n since this one is off, Im not using the sens ingame).

res and dpi are always a factor, however in osu! sens and windows sens you only need to chose one of them, its either osu! sens or windows sens, keeping windows sens default and just changing osu! sens is the simplest option.

Me using 1000dpi mouse with 0.61x sens (and im feeling i should reduce my sensitivity even more): "tf"

1x 3200dpi, apparently that's bad so i went down to 2600dpi which has made me worse but lets see if it increases potential.
ungsuhan
1000 dpi with slight linear acceleration (0.006) and a 1.2x multiplier on y-axis. Weird ahh playstyle i know. i play @1280x800

oh this is just when I remember this thread exist, I change my DPI stupidly often actually lol

DPIs I used to play with for a decent amount of time that I still remember:
1200, 1000, 800, 600, 500, 550, 400, 300, 256,

I've changed my DPI more that 20 times(like literally im not even lying) so these are just some I remember using

if I suddenly change my dpi anywhere from 800dpi-300dpi I would actually be able to play decently well with it
plectic
I hop between 800-1200, usually somewhere in the middle, for my in game sens, i just realized that it exists lol

I am genuinely surprised that people can use such low sensitivities.

I'm at 1600dpi 1.3 sensitivity 1440p resolution (windows slider in the middle as per usual). If try lowering the sensitivity any further I just wind up under aiming.

Not sure what my deal is.

you don't want to so you don't go for it

ppl can do pretty wild things if they are motivated

going straight to 0.5 or 0.3 sens might make you start moving arm more and make it more distinctly differend, easier to get used to moving arm
PikaGEMER
I switched to tablet today, a weird experience since I'm left handed so I have to relearn tapping AND aim since when I used mouse I used it like a normal right handed person would (keyboard left hand mouse right hand)

For mouse, I use the pretty standard 1x raw input on 800 dpi 1920x1200

(I use 2560x1440 with tablet now)

same settings just different mouse, can definitely say that a lightweight wireless mouse is preferable for osu.

Recently went up to 1100 from 1000 dpi. 1.0x sens in game
Golden Egg
it all comes down to personal preference but anything around 500-1500 should be good. Me personally I use 1000 dpi.

I dont think it would be smart to change the sensitivity from anything other than 1x because it would probably get weird having normal speed everywhere else but osu.
I AM VERY SMART
I can't play anything else than 800 dpi with 1.0x
bobthaboy
[DPI] 2400
[Sensitivity] 0.94x

Lower is probably better but I'm pretty comfortable with where I'm at. It's all in the wrist and the light grip from here.

OMG SAME SAME

pro tip: turn off mouse acceleration or turn on raw input ingame

Higher DPI, lower sens in-game and in the OS is better. Not too high where you can't control the cursor, but enough to make high spaced patterns doable without breaking your wrist/arm. That's different for everybody. I am playing around with mine. Currently 1200DPI, 1 in-game sens, default OS sens on Plasma (so 0.0 sens).
