i appreciate the altruistic approval of others, but i'd still prefer to rate them based on real, tangible, observable factors, with honesty. i'm not really bothered if someone judges me within their own criteria, as it's their opinion and perspective of who i am as a person. it feels more genuine to rate people on tangible aspects of their personality, to tell them what i really think of them instead.
as for Wuxo, you're kinda new. not much stands out at the moment but you're fairly kind and easygoing so far, which is a pretty nice trait.
as for now, i'll give you something akin to a 7.09/10.

Also, a pretty great person to be able to talk to, it's still been a pleasure to just indulge in conversation over things. Not to mention being able to vent to each other with ease.

I'm curious how you're arriving at the decimals though, this is some precise measurement~
When you meet enough people and rate them from 0 to 10, there's going to be people who seem a bit nicer to be around for you than someone else, even when you've rated them both an 8, as neither seem as beneficial or helpful, even insightful, as the person you rated with a 9. You, in turn, are saving your 10 for the best person in your life. Rating with integrity in regards to extremes and the average. That means the person you rate with a 0 is the subject of your utmost enmity, where seething hatred flares up immediately on sight.Puzzle wrote:

And so, it's easier to just give ratings that more or less dictate exactly where you think this person lies in your spectrum of view, in terms of whom you have the closest bonds with.
Somethin' like that. It's the same thing I do with rating and criticizing music. Rating 20 songs an 8/10 just isn't satisfactory when you have clear favorites out of those. You have to be more specific.
I just find rounding to hundredths to be most satisfying.
