As the title says. Currently, I am able to mark this thread whatever I want. Thread author should not be able to mark threads like this. ^_^

Check it out. It's assigned. xD

Edit: Now it's not :)

point was proven so i untagged :p
but yeah. be helpful if people couldn't do that
peppy
it doesn't really mean much, since it won't trigger the actual issue system.

Sometimes it would be helpful to change it on your own
You'll never know

Generally, people are smart enough not to do this (and it doesn't work on confirmed threads for Tech Support anyway.) I've personally only had to change one author-tagged thread title in my time on the tech support team.

I disagree. If the author wants to mark their own threads, it's just less tagging I have to do. Although it could be abused in practice. The number of people who actually know about this will be very limited and so it isn't a real problem currently.

I used to mark my own topics back when I wasn't a part of this support team. I thought I'd trigger the actual issue system. I did wrong. Thankfully it haven't caused much damage, most people don't bother marking their own topics anyway.
