I am just wondering if putting a bunch of turns in a slider so it stalls is allowed, image below

not for ranking because it's unexpected movement
you can, however, just make it obvious that you're trying to stall the pattern by arranging it into something visually familiar
this is obviously allowed ss/14947929/9816 (at least when i last checked)
also keep in mind to make it appropriate to your map, don't suddenly make a tech slider in a 4* map cos you thought it looked cool

I guess its ok (unless its too hard lol), though you can slow down a slider by changing its velocity in the "timing setup panel"
