I play an iPhone game called TWT and there you can pause the game and when you resume it will start the game about 3 seconds before you paused into the song and there wont be any notes during those 3 seconds since you already completed it and then you start off where you paused so you dont miss any notes because u had to pause...

When you are back at 30 seconds the notes appear.
